In my new thread, written with the anonymous "Traded Oracle" : Another Round of Readings at the Green Gargoyle Bar, the anonymous poster and I have begun a round of experiments that have me itching to converse with anyone who will listen.
Oh be a charmer, pull up a chair, do... I'll make you some hot chocolate!
So, tell me, have you ever read tarot cards in a context of space aliens before? Yes I know these are not literal space aliens -- our brave victims are from earth; they are merely being transformed into aliens through literary (or not so literary) device...
however, what I am itching to say... is
what happens to the cards!!!!!????
What happens to the way you read, when you put it in a context like that?
Like whoah, man... WEEEEEEEEEEEEEIRD, and fun.
I used the Rider Waite Smith Deck. I am not sure which deck my anonymous accomplice used, I shall have to ask him/her/it.
Like YO BABY!! Look at the Two of Pentacles, what do you see????
Nobody, reading in an intergalactic space bar could possible avoid seeing what I saw in that card. I mean, the card is positively bleeping OBVIOUS!!
Its two planets, and an orbit, right??
I mean, could you see anything else?
And then, look at the Tower. It just jumps out clear as day. Of COURSE that's a picture of a space ship crashing on a foreign planet. What else could it possibly be.
Well, I'll tell you what else it could possibly be, exactly what I saw next, which is a robot-type creature, being delivered of its foreign inhabiting bodies, its parasitical entities.
I'm not a science fiction fan, folks. I didn't watch a lot of star trek either. This context was the idea of my anonymous accomplice....
I had no idea where we were going. My poor brave victims probably have no idea what hit them...
But it sure is an mind blowing adventure.
Has anyone ever read with a double blind before? That is... you read for people who you don't know who they are, and they don't know who is reading for them? (well, unless they guess of course).
I don't know yet how my victims feel about the wild stuff we invented for them, but boy, buddy, let me tell you, well I pulled those cards for the second sitter, it was like wild fire crackers were going off inside me. There was some energy connection like I've never felt during a reading, ever ever....
Gadzooks... just thought I'd share this with y'all...
All comments, queries, questions, raves, complaints, reactions welcome.
(only please take care not to say anything ethnically insenstive about any of the odd creature-races from other galaxies)

Dear firemaiden ~
I have a headache, admittedly, but I don't understand you this morning.
I drew a card from RWS to help - Emperor. This character just look severe and as puzzled as I am. I drew another one and got IX Hermit Rx.
Might go back to sleep now.

firemaiden...
Everything you say makes perfect sense...and all I did was be the "blind" gofer to fetch you two those willing to participate...I loved being there and found myself caught up in the whole "story" aspect.
Hey, just because someone has an alien community living under that carapace, doesn't mean they don't love and feel and need.....
By last night, I think I grew a shell, several more upper and lower limbs, my fingers lengthened, AND I felt like just being part of the experience was a trip.
No, though. I haven't done any double-blind readings, but would certainly like to do some.
How you could place yourself in the Green Gargoyle, a place that is definitely otherworldly and not have the images somehow transform themselves into a whole new context?
The guidance and advice is still there....but I love what has happened with the alien-race, off-world thing.
Actually,
I think it opens us up and maybe even allows a wider latitude to let in what you need to pass along.
It sounds like that is what you experienced!

Then again...
Since I was little, I always wondered if I was adopted.
Or left behind by some otherworldly creatures.
I hope I never lose that "flooding" of images and thoughts that can come....

Moongold,
Hmmmm...Perhaps it is best you not pay a visit to the
Gargoyle Bar. If you are puzzled now....well, there's no telling what could happen if you set foot inside...
Definitely not a place for the faint and orderly of mind.
muuwhhaa-haa-haa-ha......

Dear Moongold, thank you for trying to understand. :)
Are your cards telling me that you are close to rousting the Hermit from his hiding place?

Sounds a liitle .........ahhhhh.... goonacological...... to me
[searching for words.....] No wonder I couldn't understand ;Had a hysterieriectomy a little while ago. That is hysteery -ia - ectomy in case you don't understand.
Now I know why the Hermit appeared. It's a double BLIND project and he is there with his lantern. Sorry, I couldn't see that. As soon as he appeard tmgrl2 appeared to explain so now I am 2% closer to knowing what you are talking about.
Many blessings. It does not really matter. :) Back to sleep.
