The last couple days have seemed so flat where tarot is concerned, usually when I do a reading it flows, and right now when I try I seem like I can't grasp what it is trying to say. Does anyone else get this and what do I do about it?

Yeah, I get it too. The thing to do about it is.... nothing.
We all get overkill from time to time, my advice is to forget all about your cards for a few days (whatever feels right). Don't try to prise out what isn't there - it's great when a reading does "flow", so just have a breather till it does "flow" again. It's no reflection on your skills.

Hi Ahria!
I think we've all experienced a slump where the cards seem to be speaking gibberish. If you feel like taking a break, then take it. If you feel like trying more, then perhaps come at it from a different angle. Read for someone else if you've mostly been reading for yourself lately. Pick up a tarot book about something you haven't explored in depth. Pick up a deck you haven't played with in a while.
Those are just a few suggestions. Hopefully one of them will help.

I just feel really bad taking a break as I need to do two readings for a group here. *sigh*

This happens to me every couple of months.
I find that something like this usually happens just as I'm about to have one of those 'break through' moments.
Don't worry about it - everything goes in cycles. The wheel will turn and you'll be ok again - honest.

I call it psychic overload. I think everyone gets it. You just need to take a little break. You will soon be flowing again!

The more pressure you feel, the worse it may get. I don't think anybody here would mind if you need to step back for a little while, just explain the situation and leave it a few days. Take the pressure off yourself and relax.

I usually am addicted to it half of the year, and sick of it the last half LOL. Since ive joined this site though...im more constant. I find that i enjoy reading about it on this site and also in books, and rarely do readings except for those occasional offers, but i also get tired of those-i cant concentrate.

I have never had that yet with Tarot, but I have with other tools like my Pendulum. Usually I think it just means you need to take some time off. Usually when I try to do too many readings in too short a time, and I overexhaust myself in that area. Sometimes you just need a rest to stop and recoup and get back to yourself, like a vacation when you have worked to hard.
At least that is usually what it is for me.:-)
