A spirite guide question

i am have done the spirit guide spread, but i was wondering how often should u do this spread? Do these spirites stay with u until u do what it is they want or do they leave right away? are there alot of spirites trying to access u or just one at a time that wants u to do something? also with this spread i guess u don't have to ask a question right. the sprite guide tells u everything? thank in advanced

If you're thinking spirit guide in the sense of an animal totem, it is there for you when you need it. So do tarot or other means to communicate when you need to, not as a regular ritual. When something is about to happen in my life, a raven usually will be around someone calling to me, as a heads-up. I've never have used a spirit guide in a spread, though, what spread did you use?

Here is the link to the spread i use http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23957 as far as an animal totem i don't know anything about that. i just thought that there are sprites that need our help or because we are in a certain situation they are hanging around us and are there to guide us through without us "killing' ourselves. maybe u give it a try and see what im talking about.

oh i didn't know that u ask them questions. i thought the way the format went u basically remain open. hmmmm have u had luck with asking them questions???
