I realy like the article.
It gives a clear view about what tarot realy is.
I hate the word fortuneteller or terms like that.
I once saw in a tv show (I can't remember the name) the host asked a young tarotist if she was a fortuneteller and if she would fortell his future.
He did the whole show and asked the people on it in a way that made my hairs stand up straight.
The first thing that poped in my mind when I saw this was I would NOT do a reading for him.
He precented and did the show without any compasion for the people on it.
The whole show was dedecated to what he called 'fortunetellers' and he even treated his hoasts this way.
Allmost like he didn't choose the subject himself.
Many times I've seen such articles and shows and I just don't thought any one in the media got it right.
So in ocasion when I do get to read an article like this I think, Yeah!! They got it.
I hope it'll become less something many people still think of as develish or only for people who are not right in the head, because it's not.

This Monitor article shows that Bill Reed did his homework on Tarot!
Unlike most English language articles on Tarot, this one places things in context.

I definately agree that Tarot is becoming more accepted- I recently spent a Saturday giving readings at my local manicurist's salon.
Sounds dicey, but it was actually really nice- the salon owner is Vietnamese (and Catholic too!), and I figured she'd not really be into Tarot, but after I told her all about it, (as I was getting a beautiful set of French tips, of course...) she was eager for me to come in and do some readings for her clients- (she's always running behind, so there were lot's of potential customers)
A good time was had by all, and a lot of ladies and gents got their very first Tarot reading...
