Someone has been trying to do a reading for me over the past few months..
The reader tried for the first time sometime around November 2004, and many times after (I don't know how many) and says that try as she may, she is not able to do the reading since nothing comes through, even now!
No one else has tried reading for me during that period, only this particular reader.
She has very sweetly offered to keep trying!!!
I have become very curious about this, though.... and I think I have heard it mentioned on the boards before that sometimes, one just cannot do a reading on someone....... Any thoughts as to what is going on? Why is this happening? Is it me, cosmic forces or something else?
I would love to hear people's opinions about this and any similar stories you might have to tell...... and what, if anything, I could do to help

Might not be you, it might be the reader. If he/she saw some issues in you he/she herself has, but has not dealt with, you would be pretty much impossible to read if the reader is unwilling to face this.

Also, it might be that your particular situation cannot be consoled at all. I've heard that some readers will get zip and nada if this is the case, though I myself have never had that happen.

Yemanja Hi
Have you thought about trying to find a different reader. Even to find a contrast and seek a different form of oracle to get the answers from, or a combination. It may not be as perplexing as it sounds.
There have been times when I have come up blank when reading for somebody and I have always recommend that they seek someone else. That maybe the best piece of information I can give them. I like to hear feedback from them also. Maybe you could try this to get the ball rolling, and then go back and see your regular reader with some new insights and some new questions.
Best of luck
Blessings

Hi Yemanja
I agree that it's definitely worth going to different reader(s), as the problem could be the reader. Why damn yourself or believe what someone else tells you without seeking other readings first?! I don't agree that it could be that your situation can't be consoled. Everything has a solution .... it just may be necessary to do some meditation and inner work, or some counselling if there is a really tough situation going on, so that you genuinely feel ready and safe about being open and 'readable', or, again, it could be the reader's issues. Also, sometimes answers don't seem to come because in this matter you just have to draw on your own intuition and answers.

I agree with the concensous that the reader may partly be at fault here.
I had a repeat person who was 'a difficult read.' This lady friend would have me over for a tarot party and this one guest was always the hardest person.
No matter what I said ~ it was not right. No matter how we approached the subject~ the reading made no sense. I always thought two things: 1) this person is blocking me from reading her (hard to do but not impossible), and 2) The truth was I was hitting the nail too squarely on the head and she was so bothered by that she had to deny what I was reading for her.
The cards don't lie; readers are not infallible. Some combination of factors in the universe would converge whenever I had to do a reading for her and the reading would be a failure.
My suggestion is to seek out another reader, and make no mention of what has gone before. Seek out someone else and 'see what happens.'
