My husband and I have just graduated college and found an apartment near where he will be working. We're moving in on Monday.
A thought had popped into my head while daydreaming: "I wonder if our apartment is haunted?" I was in one of those relaxed states when my mind wanders all over the place. This wouldn't really strike me as anything out of the ordinary, but my husband said that last night he had a dream that are new place was inhabited by a spirit and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Since studying Tarot, I've learned to listen to my intuition a lot more, and this seems like something important... if that makes sense.
Both my husband and I really don't know what to think about spirits- whether they exist or not or anything about the supernatural (we both have open minds, one reason why I’m studying tarot), and I therefore don't consider myself psychic or have an ability to channel "spirits". I have been studying Tarot for about a year now, and if spirits do exist would a reading in our new place provide any clue to if "someone" else is in the apartment? Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I did have a "presence" in my appartment at the very beginning, but I did nt do a reading as I was able to talk to him directly.
But I can see no reason why you cannot do a reading on this!
I'd address the entity directly with the questions in the card positions of the spread, like:
1. who are you?
2. why are you here?
3. is there anything we can do to help you to move on?
4. is there a message for us
something in that sense. I'd probably adapt the questions according to the feeling I get from the entity though.
Love
