I would simply tell him that you've given him reading before in which he didn't take the advise, so he most likely won't take it to heart now and since he won't given past patterns there's no point.
just my two cents worth, if a little harsh

If you're uncomfortable doing a reading for someone, ever, don't do it. First of all your feelings will affect the reading. And also, no one in life should ask you to do something you feel uncomfortable with spiritually. If your feel uncomfortable doing it your instincts are telling you it is not right for you to do the reading, for whatever reason. And we should listen to your instincts in spiritual matters.
Do you know someone else who could do the reading for him, even someone here on AT? Personally I only read for myself but there are a lot of people out here who read for others. Maybe someone would do it for you? If you think the reading is a good idea. If not explain to him that it is not a good idea and why.
And btw, your English is very very good, and I would not have known it was not your first language if you had not told me:-)

Err... Fair enough... That's if dad didn't head any advice, but he did, and things still turn out bad! It's like a "financial jinx" of some sort, which is why I dread the possible outcome of this reading. I really would like to help him, I just don't wanna be the portent of bad news, yet again!!! And seeing he's convalescent after such a harsh operation, he is still quite fragile.
You will have to choose, you can't have it both ways, as is so often the case in life (sigh). If you want to help him and agree to do the reading, that is the risk you take. You could have to be the bearer of bad news again.
I would still try to follow your instincts on whether it feels right to you to do it or not, then do what you feel is right. That being said, if you do decide to do it (for me anyway) I would pray first for the asnwers that will truly help and not be excessively negative.
One thing you could try is to do the reading alone when he is not there, without telling him. Which is not an invasion of privacy as he already indicated he wanted you to do it.
Then you could sort it out, if there is anything excessively negative, do more readings to work how to correct and fix them, and when you are sure you have some truly useful info, then give it to him.
And most of all, remember that predictions are not written in stone. Most things that the cards predict can still be changed.
And I want you to know I wish you and your Dad all the best!

:( *soupir*
PS.
Bienvenue.
PPPS Sorry my French is not as good as your English. LOL I mess up all my masculines and feminines... as well as a bunch of other stuff, but I'm still good enough to be understood and in the end that's what counts. :-)
PPPPS. :-) Oh I get it! The Underworld means "down under" in Australia. Cool!
