I Have recently thought of incorporaing Rune readings into my tarot readings. Does any body else do this incorporate other forms of divination into their readings? If so what else do you use with tarot in the same reading?

I use whatever comes up I know: numberology, handwriting (when the reading came on a note, but I don't think this is what your question is about), I also do readings with dreams and tarot but only when reading for myself.

I have started to do readings with Sabian Symbols and Tarot (one or two cards only) - as Elven has pioneered here. I occasionally mix Tarot and oracle decks - e.g. DruidCraft withe the Druid Animal Oracle and the Tree Oracle.
I experimented with i-ching and tarot in one throw, but it was not entirely happy (I got confused). However, I might give it another go.
I did go and see a reader once who used Tarot and Runes, and it worked well.

I frequently use both Tarot and I Ching and I find that it works well. Not familiar with runes (I mean, I know what they are, but not how to read them). I have used the Faeries Oracle with Tarot readings before and that has worked well, but I do not do it often.

I used to draw Runes to add to the cards I dealt - this often added a more grounded response, a more certain response. I find the Runes are very to-the-point, earthy, and grounded.
These days though, I don't physically draw any Runes to go with the cards I am reading, but in my mind if a Rune pops up in relation to a reading or a card, I'll mention it, as I will with other symbolic systems such as numerology, astrology, colour symbolism, animal symbolism, myths, fairytales, etc etc. It's very free-association, and often provides the missing link in a reading, or at the very least helps the querent understand better what I'm saying.

I don't like Runes as much on their own, but I do like them with Tarot (they're kind of like my parents: one of them makes short, brusque statments and the other could babble all day. Together, they complement each other, but the short, brusque statements could start to make you feel a little uncomfortable if the bubbly talker wasn't around).
I sometimes combine Tarot with a flash of actual psychic insight, but that doesn't happen as often as I'd like nor as predictably.

Thanks everyone. I was thinking of trying Runes with Tarot and was wondering what other combinations people had used.

Have you tried the Haindl deck? There are runes and i-ching symbols right on the cards.

The Röhrig has runes as well, and Hebrew letters.

That's exactly what I have discovered...runes are blunt and to the point! So I do a three rune pull and if I need clarification (sometimes it's pretty definite so that I don't) then I do a Tarot reading for more information.
One such instance: I did a quick rune pull on someone and it came up Berkana or fertility. So I did a Tarot reading and got the Empress card. This lady had been trying to become pregnant so I was hopeful it meant she might succeed. Alas, no. From what she said to me (I didn't tell her about the reading), I gathered that she was fertile around the time of my reading but nothing came of it.

Sometimes I combine the pendulum with Tarot. I am just in the very early learning stages with the pendy though. I have 12 Tarot/Oracle decks. What I have tried so far and it has worked for me, is when I can't decide which deck to use.....I have made a fan pendulum chart divided into 12 sections, each containing the name of one of my decks. Then when I can't decide which deck to use, I let the pendy decide.
When I get better with the pendulum I know I will let it answer all the yes/no questions in a reading and let the Tarot answer all the others.

What's a Sabian Symbol?
