Tarot Connections

Last night I watched the Nicole Kidman version of the Stepford Wives and all I could think of during the movie was my Housewive's Tarot. Has anyone else had these associations with films/songs/books etc that have reminded them of particular decks?

I love that when the universe sends you messages like that! At least I see it as a message, that the universe wants to remind you of the deck because the deck has a message the universe needs you to learn. My idea is if that happened to me I would pull the deck out and ask what message the universe was trying to show me with the repeated imagery. Just my idea on that. :-)
Sychronicities...have been popping up for me since I started Tarot. Sometimes the universe does that to me. After I do a reading, it sends me additional info in my real life to reinforce the message. Once I did a reading, and one of the cards (I forget which deck and which card) had a large five pointed star in it. And that was a big part of the answer. The next day I was calmly watching TV, and there on the screen was the same star.
The star on TV must have been 5 feet tall and someone was carrying it and somehow broke off the right hand peak of it. And it was like there was my Tarot message again, but this time it was reminding me there was something damaged there I needed to fix. And as it was the right side, so I figured I would have to fix it intuitively.:-)
Oh and once, in late autumn, as I sat at my "Tarot desk" doing a reading a card came up in my Wheel of Fortune deck with a large tree on it. And I looked out my window and there was the same tree! The tree in the card looked identical to the tree outside, like it was a photograph of it. I found that so cool!
On a somewhat unrelated and somewhat related note, :-), the universe intervened again on me tonight. I had just bought my 13th deck (the Water Crystal Oracle) and I decided I needed another as I am too superstitious to stop at 13. LOL I was trying to buy the Millenium Tarot this aft. I must have tried for over and hour. The link on the page would not let me pay either with PayPal or my Credit card (which has never happened to me before, and I buy all my decks online as well as lots of other stuff). Then I shopped around tonight again to make sure that was the best choice deck for me and found one I like even better (SoulCards [volumes 1 and 2]).
I just love it when the universe steps in and won't let you do what is wrong for you. I don't know if the Millenium one was wrong for me or if the universe just thought I really needed SoulCards, but I trust the process. :-)

Talking about the movie..."The Stepford wives" was it a good movie? I was thinking about getting that movie out the other day.

Skip it! ;) Nicole Kidman is amazing, in all movies (yes, I'm a fan lol), but this movie is very rushed. It just isn't well done at all, even though the idea is interesting/fun.
On topic again:
I often 'think tarot'. :D My friend was writing a poem the other day, and around her on the table she had a bunch of finished poems. I instantly thought "this is very 8 of pentacles"...
