I recently aquired 2 decks I love! The Gill, and Revelations Tarot. I want to study with both but I think I should settle with only one for the time being. (or should I??).
I know there's plenty of you that aquire numerous decks at the same time, like I did with these 2. So, what do you do? Study and read with both or do you put one away and work with just the one deck for awhile? Just curious.
The Gill (well, it's minors and courts) are somewhat different than standard RW, while Revelations sticks mostly with the meanings I am comfortable with.
So maybe Gill could be a study deck, creating a study thread, maybe use it for certain readings? And Revelations can be my main reading deck?
I feel like the character in 2 of Pentacles! ha! Picture him juggling his 2 favorite decks instead of coins. ;)
Just curious as to what you all do.

on different days of the week.
Switching gears, so to speak.
Revelations sounds like you are expanding upon what you already know...might be good if you feel that day you want to study reversals as well as 'the whole deck'. Maybe a day when you want to add zest and fun to your steady diet...like a new seasoning on an old favorite dish.
Gill looks like quite a rich feast...maybe alternate this when you feel adventurous for a new taste?
Sounds like you'd enjoy sampling both for a bit...have fun!

I switch up on occasion, though, in the 13 decks I have there are two I have rarely touched (Legends and Shapeshifter), and one that isn't even out of its shrink-wrap (Visconti).
But, what I do try to do is take a week for each deck and read with it. It keeps me out of being in a Tarot rut from seeing the same images over and over again, and it helps keep me fresh with using my intuitive reading, instead of the standard LWB meanings.
