Well, apparently I move fast. I started reading about meanings, and spreads, and decided the best way for me to learn was to start shuffling, and do spreads, and then read the meanings of the cards as I went.
I smacked the cards against my table three times, to "knock off" any lingering negative energy they might have picked up. I shuffled, and did several spreads just for me, and every time, they came out right on the money.
So, I suddenly felt compelled to do a reading for the friend who bought my deck for me. I felt very, very drawn to do her reading.
I don't have my notes on what the cards were, but I did a Celtic Cross spread, and let her horoscope sign, the booklet, and my intuition guide me to pick a card to represent her.
I did the reading, wrote down what it all was, wrote down all the meanings, and e-mailed it all to her.
Today, she e-mailed me back, and said, "Wow, wow, and WOW! You were SO right on with EVERYTHING in that reading!"
I'm SO thrilled! I'm very excited, I think I'm going down the right path, and truly finding my "wings" with the art of tarot.

I did ask her if I could post that I'd done her reading here, and she did say that was okay with her.

Oh, show us this reading!
You know, all times i do Celtic Cross reading to the others, they tend to be my best ones. But also very tiring - i put too much energy in my readings, and not rarely i get a headache!
I've just started reading to others too, and i'm not sure if i'm good. I should learn to trust myself more...
