I´ve done a really bad reading

I´m sure that someone talked about this before, but i need some opinions. I had finish to do a reading that is so bad, that i´ve shame of it. Especially because she gave me a really insight reading. That was the best spiritual reading that so far someone gave me. I saw me at every points of her reading to me. So, you think that was the pressure? Like she gave me such a good reading i whanted to gave her the same and i blocked? I didnt undertand the spread, you think that maybe was this the problem? If this hapened to you, can you explain what is your opinons about this? Thanks

If I remember correctly dear, you haven't even received feedback on it...I think you might be a bit fearful for nothing at all. Sometimes, when "we" think we've done such a terrible job..it turns out to be one of the best readings we've pulled out... Don't discredit yourself so quickly....and don't feel intimidated either. Also, sometimes....the short and to the point readings are better than the long, indepth ones...sometimes....saying too much IS too much. I'm sure you did fine!!! :) WR

Thanks White Raven, you are very sweet. But i have dificulty to fit all together, i didnt undertsant nothing what i wrote about, my mind was only contradictions. I saw one thing, but than i saw a total diferent one. Maybe you are right, she didnt gave me the feedback yet. I didnt asked for it... I think tath is really bad. But it seems that my head gave a node, you understand? Maybe i should made some questions before, for the reading being more fit. Thanks for your encourageous words.

Meh, i know how you feel. When i'm going to do a reading to the others, i tend to block...afraid i'm going to say something that makes no sense, or saying 'wrong' things. But then, that's the way to go. You've got to tell the person you are learning and all. You cannot get better without practicing. Besides, the notebook and the pen are your best friends. Write everything down, first impressions, sudden feelings...read it two days later and, wow, you saw something you hadn't noticed before! Sometimes we get something in a reading and you think 'no, that can't be...' and when you see...it's exactly what you thought it was. You were just too nervous to trust yourself. I have the same problem, so you are not alone ;) Love Yuko

Does your ego (self-awareness) get in the way of your progression. Dear Light2000, You are being awfully hard on yourself! Please give yourself some credit for having the courage and desire to read for others to begin with. It can be a vulnerable thing and you are brave to open yourself up. Allow yourself to make mistakes too! Thats how we learn. I know it can't be frusterating and scary to feel so disconnected or all over the place with a reading but that's why we are here in the Newbie thread learning with eachother. It's okay, better yet, important to makes mistakes!!! When we are in an enviornment where we are free to make mistakes we are free to learn!! I for one thoroughly enjoyed the reading I had from you last week and felt you had an amazing talent for connecting to specific details buried deep within the reading. Really some of your stuff....well it blew me away! And the mistakes? What the hell...that's what we're here for. EAB.

Yes , you are right. I thought about it, and idnt no crime. I had offered a another reading, so... I think i over reacted. Thank you guys. Yes i must change this thing on me, and today i realize that fail is human, i´m human so i have the right of fail. Thanks i over reacted.

I am absolutely behind WhiteRaven on this one light2000: DON'T count yourself out until you get the feedback. The best readings will be the ones that make NO sense at all to you.... they will make 100% sense the the querent. If you are trying to make a reading that makes sense to YOU, you may be blocking a lot of information that would be useful to the client. Dont' worry until the feedback comes back. And don't worry then: it was what you saw, it doesn't matter if it wasn't what the querent wanted. Ace
