Many of us look at the "Judgement" card as a cleansing and renewal....rebirth...atonement....etc....
Would any of you associate this card to Summer Solstice?
"It is a time to reflect upon the growth of the season: the seeds that were planted in the earth and the seeds planted in our souls. It is a time of cleansing and renewal. It is a time of love and growth as well."
~Equinox and Solstice.com~
I'd appreciate some comments please...
Thanks
:)

hi WhiteRaven!!
I dont no if associate this card to Summer Solstice.
But i think that the judgement talks about responsability, and see you will recive what you had planted. You if the seeds are good you will have good results, if it was bad seeds you will recive bad results.
Sometimes i see this card like a responsability freedom, but it can say that you have a lot of responsabilties with your family, when this card came out you arent complety free, is because of that this card come so often when you ask for a marriage. When you see that a people is going to marry, you don see this card? I see it a lot.

White Raven ~
It is a eally interesting association. The energy of light and heat is clearly abundant in the image.
Those naked people in the coffins could also be people at the beach, swimming in summer heat. hehehe :).
It's an interesting pagan perspective on an old biblical image. Why not? The parallels between the two philosophies are sometimes very strong. There is often a shared mythology.

White raven,
What an interesting thought. I had never really looked at the card that way although I must admit Judgement is not acrd I am really very well verse on and not one that really comes up in my readings much. It has just brought to mind the Summer harvest and reaping what you have sowed.

judgement for me is about the opportunity to open new doors (if you have the right keys so to speak). As in have you learned enough to begin this new chapter of your life. Or do you need to stick with what you have.
I suppose it could be related to the summer solstice but could it not also be related to the spring too. with the growth of new life after the ordeal of winter... ?
