How would you put together your perfect deck and why?
Here are the rules:
1. You may not put together your ideal deck with individual cards
2. Instead, select trumps, courts and minors as a group from your deck of choice.
Here's my perfect deck
1. Trumps - Thoth - to me this these trumps are both visually appealing and the most symbolically rich. You can spend a lifetime understanding the symbols as they draw on so many sources.
2. Courts - Spiral - the people meet me head on and I appreciate the additional astrological symbology. They seem to personify their respective elements (air, earth, etc) particularly well. I find the Princess of Wands so apt and poignent (I am most taken by all of the Princesses in this deck). Can anyone tell me what the triangles in this deck mean? (the Thoth courts are a close runner up for me).
3. Minors - Gilded - extraordinary symbolic richness for what is often the afterthought in a deck. Crisp visual deliniation between cards like the 3 and 8 of pents which appear to have a similar meaning in RWS
