Hi everybody!
A small question...when one of favorite decks is getting too old from being used, and you are afraid the cards are getting too fragile, what do you do?
My Enchanted Tarot is kinda old, and they don't sell it here anymore...i'm afraid the cards rip/bend because their 'natural' lamination (i don't know if that's the word) is starting to unglue on the corners of some cards...
Any ideas on how to make your cards survive a little longer? I really cannot afford a new deck and, as i said, it isn't being published here anymore.
Thanks in advance!

Whoa, thank you! Just a question: is it possible to re-laminate a deck? Do you think it works or it's best to just leave the way it is?
Also, what's ia fanning powder? We must have this in Brazil, but i don't know how it's called here...is there any other thing that can be used instead?

Never saw a need to re-laminate.
Like I have said before – had one deck last 29 years…and only used fanning powder on it…it was just fine. Looked used, but well...it was. and sitters loved it. Said it looked 'loved'.
and no...I never ever washed or wiped the cards with anything moist.
Some cards were stained...
But it was a 'loved' deck.

I believe fanning powder is used by magicians to reduce the friction between playing cards, thus making it easier to "fan" the deck.
