Okay, I'm being daring. What do you look like? How would you describe yourselves physically? As this is a board on the Internet, I respect if you prefer to retain that mystery about yourselves...
I guess being an earth sign I'm curious about physical attributes. I was at Barnes & Noble today where a local radio station had a promotion and was surprised to see that my mental image of the DJs were so unlike what I had pictured!! I find it so fascinating how we conjer an image of people based on their voice - spoken or written.
Anyone who would like to describe, go ahead. I'll start. I'm tall and slim, about 5 feet 8 inches (I dont know what that is in metrics, sorry) and I have brown hair to the middle of my back. My mom thinks I look like Audrey Hepburn and some friends say I look like Jennifer Love Hewitt. I just think I look like my dad! Because I'm tall, I've always been told not to slouch. Sure, I can reach the higher shelves without a stool but I've always wanted to be cute and not so tall like my friends. I tend to hide in long skirts, comfy sweaters and Birkenstocks. I usually wear solid colors (so Capricorn!) mostly black, gray and brown. But sometimes I'm in a wild red, fuschia mood but that's only if I want to be noticed, which is not too often. I'm too practical. I hate suits, I don't like to be confined.
So, if anyone else wants to be daring... jump in!

Cos I'm half asleep (too many easter eggs mmmmm), I'll follow January's template! I'm 5'7", blonde, grey eyes, odd figure (big gut but great arms and bum!). I love wearing black black black!! Just come to realise that my Mum and my astro-correspondents are correct - aqua looks pretty good on me! I'd wear bootleg trousers everyday if I could, I own 10 pairs of boots (from army boots to lil ankle heets to knee high new rock boots), and I love wearing meshy tops. Ummmmmmmmmmmm.... yeh I slouch pretty badly....

GAW: HOW COOL ARE YOU?!!!!!!!?????? No, seriously, you look really cool.... :cool:
Me: I'm growing quite fond of my physical appearance now, cuz I spent about 15 yeas of my life looking spotty, yucky, shapeless, etc.... Now however, I'm far from shapeless. I'm just a tiny bit taller than a petite person, slim, with child-brearing hips (Which my boyf just loves!) About size 8/10/12, depeding on what shop I go to... Mind you, I can get into a Miss Selfridge size 6 corset! YEAH! (I'm not anorexic, btw... Just that my weight fits me perfectly. I weigh about 7 and a half stone, and have done for the past 3 years... Haven't grown at all either in that time!) I'm kinda hourglass shape I s'pose, although the top of the hourglass is a tiny bit smaller than the bottom! (Although I still like it lots!) I've got green eyes, and long red hair, long, thick eye-lashes, and a smile that I'm really pleased with after living 4 years of my teenage life in a brace. (AGH!)
I have been told that I am pretty, but not in the conventional way. I'm not one of hose drop-dead gorgeous women you see every now and then, becuse I add my own little quirky touch. I also never wear make-up, mostly cuz I never used to experiment very much so don't know how, (Unless its black lippie, eye-liner, and mascara... Malachite can testify how good I am with that! Um.. Long story... PLEASE LET ME TELL IT?!) and I don't usually have time either! Besides, having red hair and green eyes doesn't give me much option for colours to choose other than black, or natural...
So, yeah.... I like me!

The thing is with me is that I don't have any particular style, it changes every day! Anything from goth, biker chick, vampy moulin vouge style, or totally in the fashion of the moment - darrrhling! At present I am in gypsy mode, lots of floaty chiffon skirts and headscarves.
My hair is a sore subject at the moment due to desperately trying to grow it long for years and finally got it back to below 'boob length' and then went to the hairdressers who cut four inches off!
Anyway, think quite long, straight dark brown hair, large brown eyes, have been told I look spanish or italian, 5ft 4", size 12, pale complexion, large dragon tattoo on left hip, small flower tattoo on right boob.

(O-oh... hope the pics work out... with this sort of build up I'd be in trouble if they didn't LOL)

Well, let's see, I am ravishly lovely, and like to walk in the rain. Looking for discrete... oops, wrong thread!
Okay, I am just a hair under 6 feet tall, about 185 pounds, so not a tiny little thing. I smile a lot, and have shiny brown hair, lovingly made that way by my hairdresser so all that grey won't show. When the roots come out, I would say I am well over 60% grey by now. I look so much like like my dad that relatives gasp when I show up on one of my visits to central Canada. Unluckily that means I have fairly decided facial features, but am a lot more flexible than that would indicate to many! Definitely looking middle aged now, sniff. Did I mention I smile a lot?

Well I’m Black 5” 7and a half stone size 8 but full figured if you get what I mean. (Yes I have got the sterio type figure of a black woman) I do have a big smile but I haven’t been smiling which, I need to do more as I’ve got nice teeth. I was has half way there of getting my sixpack but I need to do some more sit ups. I’m not at all vain but I used to go to the gym a lot and feel really good and sexy but as I’m suffering from depression sexy doesn’t come into it. I’ve been wearing a big red T-shirt for the last few days and my jeans which is due for a wash. I think if I had more confidence I would feel like one of the girls from Destiny’s Child. I always cover my legs as I’m always cold and wear a cardi. My hair is in long plates with a tint of red at the ends. I have tons of earings etc. and wear turquoise jewellery.

i'm short (60 whole inches tall), with a round goddess-body. i have very curly, long red hair, brown eyes , freckles, dimples and chubby cheeks. kind of cherubic looking, not totally ideal for a 35 year old woman, but at least there's two eyes and one nose, etc.
my style is---> i have no style! i have a lot of piercings and i wear jeans, t-shirts and combat boots most of the time.
oh, and i waddle when i walk.

All this honesty (you can totally tell everyone is dead-on honest so I'll try to keep it rolling);
I am 5'6" or less, mostly legs ( no boobs to speak of)... Been a long distance runner since I was 17 becus of the chubby horrors of teenage years.
Finally got the tattoos I wanted - have designed tarot images from C. deck on outer side of each calf (ace of swords on outer left, cross w/twining barbed wire on outer right calf) and on right arm, from shoulder to elbow, my three times inked over Pythia in mostly emerald green, still needing her eye re-done.
(well- a face lift seemed stupid, so I put on some designs to decorate the temple!)
I am constantly told I "must be" American Indian or Italian, but I'm not. I dye my hair blue black, it is waist or longer.
Having recovered (at 40) from fat, acne, and anorexia- among other dumb ideas, I feel pretty good these days!

The rest of you...strange as this sounds, seem exactly as I would have imagined, itf I'd tried to imagine it, that is.
Marion and funkpuss and Kiama- I swear I could have matched you to your descriptions.
I'd go into more detail, but running myself down makes me too sad, even in the name of honesty...plus I'm exhausted and headed for bed.

Well... most of you have probably seen me if you followed the 'Quokka' post... If not go here...
I am 24 (the perfect age!!!), six foot / 183 cm tall, natural light blonde, blue/grey eyes, fair skin, very thin... I usually go for the intellectual look (with my Gucci classes to complete the look) but funky/casual on weekends :) Last season all the clothes I bought were olive green and/or red. So far this year it seems light blues and autumn colours might dominate :p I spend way too much money on clothes and I know I can't take them all with me when I travel through Europe next year!

I am blonde haired & blue eyed. About 5'4". Weigh more then I am comfortable with. Curvy (and not because of the weight).
I like my new glasses and am finally comfortable wearing them in public (I've had corrective lenses since I was 8 - wore contacts for 20 yrs + but have to switch now).
I used to look quite young for my age. I think I've finally reach the age where I look it...in a good way.
And BTW, 28 was my best year....Aussie bobsledders..trips abroad...boyfriends, job....sigh.....

I am 5'6..size 14...a bit to much top heavy..wide hips from child..flat butt...Rusty red hair just below my shoulders (I have never been to a place with so many redheads..its kind of nice) faded beady blue eyes with glasses that have been soddered together one to many times, from cmy child breaking them..a longish nose, medium build in general...from what I have been told is that I would be a good artist model..

My turn... I'm 36 years old, 5'3" tall. I have long wavey light brown hair. Light blue eyes. People tell me my eyes are very pretty.
My style is simple. My hair is wash, comb and go. I don't even own a blowdryer. I own no makeup. I mostly wear jeans and sneakers with a nice shirt. I don't like t-shirts.

I'm 5'4" (roughly 164cm, if I remembered the conversion correctly) and weigh more than I'd like (sometimes I'm ok with it, other times I'm not :) ). I have waist-length, wavy, dark reddish-brown hair, brown eyes and glasses. I'm usually in jeans and a
t-shirt. . . go comfy clothes!

I'm 35, 5'4'',marilyn monroe build (hey, she made a size 12 look good! ), very long dark brown/black hair (with lots of white in a streak in front, if I don't dye it, i look like Elvira!), brown eyes, nice smile.
my style is lots and lots of silver jewelry, long skirts, jeans, form- fitting tops, almost always in black or grey. slightly olive complexion, so people think I look italian or greek (I'm both), or hispanic (I'm not).
I also think that (with my daughter now 5) i'm finally starting to "look like a mom", if you know what I mean (and that's ok with me).

Id love to be able to say I look like --- but I dont look like anyone. Im 32 but look mid 20's and I weigh--- but look like I weigh about 20 lbs less. Thank God for good genetics! I have long naturally curly hair thats black mid winter, red mid summer and brown in between. Does that all on its own. I have large green eyes that people always seem to trust My figure swings from Marilyn Monroe to the Venus of Willendorf and back very frequently. 3 seperate boyfriends thought they came up with the nickname "Pillows" on their own. LOL And the boob fairy went above and beyond the call of duty. I wish the gravity fairy was as nice to me. I gravitate to dressing theatrically, but being a Gemini, I can look like whoever you need me to be. :) You can tell me in a crowd by the bruises, bandaids or limp. I am a terminal klutz.

Greetings.
I think I have pic at home, I'll try to remember posting it. In the meantime: I'm 170 cm tall and weigh 55 kg. 21 years old. At the moment I have short red hair (originally light brown). My eyes vary between green, yellow (!), blue and brown. And sometimes grey I've been told... It depends on the light and my mood. Strange, right?? :) I dress fairly normal, although I occasionally 'flip out' with some neon coloured something. *l* I'm extremely fond of silver, so I wear four silver rings, two silver bracelets and a silver necklace with a silver celtic cross on it, at all times. Just love having them on. I usually don't wear alot of make-up, but mascara is needed EVERY day. *s* I also wear lipstick (in a dim natural colour) almost daily. Again, I tend to 'flip out' sometimes with make-up as well. :D My teeth are nice, probably since my father is a dentist... not! But I do have OK teeth. *s*

It is a many times inked over Python Snake, although the colors don't show up well in this photo.
I designed it after reading many accounts of the Oracles in Ancient Greece (Cassandra, for instance- who was blind) who used to use python snakes
as part of their trances.
In fact, Pythia is another word for oracle or witch or whatever you call it when ... a person seeks out contact with the divine in some form, on a regular basis.

if you have a pic of yourself on your harddrive.........then when you are in the reply screen, click on attach file "browse" button. it will show your documents file (at least on a mac) and then you just click into the right section where your photo is stored. when you get to it, click for it to open and then you are back on this reply screen again. AND IT'S ATTACHED

I finally got my digital camera to work again and took four pictures. I'll attach one for you viewing [s]pleasure[/s] horror. I am 5'2" with brown hair and light blue eyes, and am very...uh...full-figured, especially for a 14 year old (*sigh*. Think, mmm...Venus of Willendorf. Marilyn Monroe is being too nice. I have a large set of hips that are free to a good home...a couple of bust cup sizes I'd like to give away too. Any takers?)

Anyways, I've got shoulder-length bright red hair starting to turn silver. Brown eyes, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weigh about 30 pounds more than I'd like.

Gypsy...I've always wanted red hair and green eyes. I think I'll dye my hair when I get older (can't dye it until I graduate from this school I'm in in a couple of weeks--they won't let you alter your natural hair color at all...I graduate on May 16th though so I'm home free after that.) Email me or AIM me if you get too frustrated with the goshdarn newfangled digital camera...I have two (rather cheap) ones, and I might be able to help.

Perhaps the picture of one of my lovebirds short-circuited
the thread ~~~ It sure wasn't meant as any big deal- I was unable to
get any of the pictures I had sized down and ready to go, to make it up there. . .so I cropped down that pix of my opal- pied masked lovebird-
"Monkey Girl" because it is so frustrating to have three failed gos at it` and she is my only half-success at 'adobe photoshop's' "posterize effect" - so somehow it was easier to get through (??)
Hope nothing got caught in the works. . .

Shhhhh! don't tell anyone but those are plastic! lol Someone bought me those at this rave I went to WAY back when in Austin. But they don't even look plastic in person, unless you get real close and examine them. lol
By "keeping my back to the wall reader" do you mean being suspicious of people? If so, I would have to say yes, most of the time. The FEW people I have read I have been dead on with their readings (example: one girl I read not too long ago (not from this forum) the cards said she had an eating disorder, and sure enough, she admited it to me when I asked. Lately just haven't had the time to read for anyone. But I do have some time late at night.

I'm big... I'm just 180 cm, but have a huge belly. I have very short hair and brown (almost black) eyes. I look like a teddybear or Winnie The Pooh :D
I dress in suspenders, and might look like a grandfather og sometimes when I wear a suit, I can be a kind of Godfather - hehe.
I friend of mine told me that I had a shaman body, and that's funny cause I've really got interested in shamanisme lately.
I wonder if I shall get me an kind of robe. As a Leo I have this dream of using colorful clothes with symbols. But I also like to be anonymious. Maybe I just wear it at home...

I look best while kayaking. Especially in a double kayak, when my husband is providing most of the power.
Seriously, my eyes are light brown, my hair is short and has brown highlights and my skin always has a tan. At best, I stand straight and you'll most likely be taller than me.

I don't have a scanny thing either, and i wouldn't know how to do it if i did!! so i won't have a picture to send for a while.
i'm a redhead (not so natural) it's short right now, i go through phases of long, flowing curls and short, fun spikeys!
i have blue eyes, i'm about 5'7". i weigh a bit more than i'd like, but it just makes me more of a belly dancing beauty!!
i am curvey, more busty than booty. i have great legs and not so great abs. hee hee.
that's about it. oh, everyone says i look a lot younger than i am, probably cause i drink a TON of water!

I haven't learnt how to scan the photo and put it on the computer yet, so I will just describe myself as best I can, til I can get the photo up and running.
I am 5'4'', olive skin (good tan in summer), big round blue eyes, not as slim as i was before the kids, but not overweight, my hair is a deep burgandy colour at the moment, it is naturally medium brown, not quite to my shoulder blades in length they say I look like Madonna with brown hair (without the mole) I really don't think so, It is just her eyes are the same as mine, in size and colour. I have never been busty, (only when breastfeeding LOL) but have big hips (those good ole childbearing ones).
Well I hope to get a pic up soon so then you all can see for yourself.:)

Dark hair that goes into ringlets, sometimes with a hint of henna-red to hide the grey ones, and eyes that are so dark brown that they're almost black. An old boyfriend once told me I had eyes like a cow - when he saw my look of dismay, he quickly added 'I mean a very nice cow, like a Jersey or Guernsey'! I'm five eight and heavier than I'd like, 'cos my thyroid doesn't work properly.

That's me, running amok at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival last fall. I still look pretty much the same (though I've lost 10-15 pounds since then, YAY!!!!). 26 (soon to be...eek....27....oy, I feel old now...), 5'7", and my hair's a bit curlier (better living through chemistry).

Don`t know how to put a picture up so a description will have to do.
I`m 37 years old but apparantly I don`t look it, probably because I`m so small; 5 feet nothing. I weigh about 110 lbs. I have long dreadlocks, brown with blonde bits, blue eyes, quite a few piercings.
To sum up I`m a bit of a hippy.

I haven't got a scanner so can't send a picture - I am 5' 3" have medium brown hair with golden lights courtesy of my hairdresser to cover any grey, my hair is short with a spiky fringe. I have hazel coloured eyes and have an olive complexion. I weigh 8 and 1/2 stone or 54 kg. I mostly wear casual gear since I left my job as a secretary and as I am doing healing work or meditation groups etc I find jeans and t shirts best. I like to dress up for special occasions. I have pierced ears
and I like to wear a gold cross.

You are absolutely adorable! :) Of course, I'm a bit biased because I think you resemble my oldest (10 y.o.) daughter. She has exactly the same type of curls and darling smile!
I'm attaching a picture of her (she's the one on the right) at her soccer game this past week. Her curls are pulled back in a french braid, but look just like yours. Lots of hair and curls that aren't quite corkscrews.

Unfortunately, we only share thick hair. She gets her curls from her Irish daddy :) My hair is thick, has lots of body and is auburn colored.

I look something like a negative image of Col. Sanders. I usually am in a suit and tie or formal shirt during the week. I like Nehru collars and string ties on occasion, and vintage-styled suits: zoot, long, mandarin, Italian. Usually black.
The only picture of myself online I know of is at my firm's site, so of course it's ultra formal.
