How does everybody feel about Dom(me)/sub relationships? Or, maybe more accurately, dominant and submissive spirits residing in our bodies? Or a little of both?

i prefer equality :) IMO, a relationship has many different facets to it. my strengths are my hubby's weaknesses (or things he prefers to not do - like the budget) and my weaknesses are his strengths. although, i assume you are talking more about the bedroom. i would just like to mention to all that this is the world wide web so remember that when you are sharing your thoughts AND many minors visit this site so please remember that while sharing. in light, jade

I too, would prefer equality as a whole, however, it is usual for one person to be dominant in certain things, and one sumissive. For instance, if me and my boyf were travelling together in a car, there is no way I could be the dominant one! I can't navigate to save my life, and my memory concerning roads and what-have-you is about as good as a goldfish's. So, he would be the dominant one here. When we have pillow fights, he is the dominant one physically, so he usually wins. (Damnit!) But when it comes to arguing, the intellectual stuff, and reading instructions ;) I'm the dominant one. (Why can't men read instructions!??!!) Kiama Jade: I'm a minor. Damnit! (Mind you I probably say more non-minor stuff than the non-minors here! ;) )

50/50 for me even though when people meet me they get the idea that I'm really full on dom but when they get to know me I'm such a softie. But I normaly find that my strengths are my partner weekness and visa versa. I like that! FP

I think everyone has strengths and weaknesses...its that difference that allows some kind of need, as well as want, i suppose.... But I don't think that one person will always be the dominant, and one the submissive... If that is true of a relationship, then it probably isn;t doing anyone any good.... but then, this isn;t exactly the voice of experience...;)
