I have really eclectic musical tastes and listen to almost anything from electronica to jazz, to chill-out lounge to rock to alternative to pop to worldbeat....I have no fav's per se, and tend to go through bouts of listening to whatever.
Currently, this includes, but is not limited to:
Truby Trio
Sting
Buena Vista Social Club
Moby
a worldbeat compilation from Putamayo Records
a worldbeat compilation from Six Degrees Records
the soundtrack from Notre Dame de Paris
....and alot of radio, from the CBC to a "new rock-alternative" station called X-FM.

When someone askes me what kind of music I'm into I tell them that my collection consist of everything from Adam Ant to ZZ Top and from AC/DC to Ziggy Marley.
I have my hometown favorites which I'm sure no one here has probably heard. Rod and the Ideals and Black Sands. Some of the members from each of those bands used to be called the Clue..
I also like alot (and recommend)
Alana Davis
India Arie
John Cowan
Todd Snider
Red Session
some others to list
Robbie Robertson and the Red Road Ensamble
Baaba Mal
Angelique Kidjo

Rob Zombie, Metallica, Creed, any band that started here in Seattle or the Northwest area, (US and Canada), or has that sound (always), plus Anggen, Enya, Staind, Puddle of Mudd, the "Brother Where Art Thou" soundtrack, Dido, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Sheryl Crow, retro, punk, progressive, whatever that means, classical, some rap, electronica...
I like pretty much everything but sickie-sweet oldies, extra-twangy country, and most opera.
