Most U.S. citizens are aware of our pledge of allegiance. after reading many of the posts on homosexuality and other topics i found i was uncomfortable with the smaller view and wrote another pledge. i am sharing it with you here.
because it shouldn't Matter what our race, religion, or sexual preference is. we are all in this life together.
GLOBAL PLEDGE
I pledge allegiance to the Planet
and the Universe in which it exists.
One Planet,
under Divine Spirit,
with freedom, food, health and education for all.
With no boundaries between Nature and the Human Race,
with Tolerance and Reverence
toward all.

thought you might be interested in this version of the pledge that i have on my refrigerator, this one was written by a 7 year old, named indigo. it was published in the indiana alternative/holistic free magazine; branches.

When I dedicated myself to the Gods last Imbolc, I said a pledge, which I later wrote out. I will find it tonight, and post it when I get back.

i noticed the synchronicities too. here's more. i also lived in the northern part of the state until a few years ago. you mentioned your easel, you didn't by any chance attend art school too?
