What sort of creature/guide is it that's really attracted to bright blue flowers? Whatever it is has decided it likes me (a LOT) and has been urging me to plant dozens on dozens of almost obnoxiously bright blue flowers. It doesn't matter what kind, or what they smell like (even though it likes the sweeter smelling ones a little better). Can anybody tell me?

Hi cricket,
The Goddess is often associated with blue so blue flowers might also be appropriate to honor her. Blue is often associated with spirit.

Around my roses, I like to plant dark blue Lobelia’s. Bees of all kinds love them. And although I am not a bee person, I have found that when the bee’s love my yard, I am a happier person.

I know there is a bird in Australia that is attracted to blue and robs almost anything bue it can find to attract a mate. I can't remember the name of the bird - and anyways, you ar in the Southern US, not Australia, so it hardly matters.
I love blue flowers! Try blue poppies, blue lobelia, blue delphiniums and hollyhocks. There is a really cool looking flower called "nigella" that is almost space agey in it's appearance and has an intense, lighter blue flower. There are the fabulous blue morning glories both "Heavenly blue" and "Flying Saucers", and blue clematis. There is even a blue rose now!

Amyel - Now I've got to find a really good seed catalogue and find some of those. *LOL*
Liliana - You've got it! I think. :) I bought a scrying ball when I went to visit faunabay. Never would have gotten it, except a fairie decided to show herself to me. She's 'disappeared' since then, along with a few of the butterflies that were living in the crystal. The butterflies have been showing up in the yard... and as soon as I thought about it, then asked, the fairie started laughing at me! She was playing a joke!
Now I feel like an idiot for not figuring it out on my own. *LOL*
