I don't really know what I want to say about this, but I thought I'd throw it out to be mutilated and savaged...;) Has anyone noticed that, while we're celebrating the treaty between the two Nuclear powers least likely to use their weapons, the two Nuclear powers Most likely to use them are busy grunting at each other across the border? Maybe this is some obscure balance of energies, but I really hope that in the next few weeks, when I wake up in the morning, I will be proud of what it means to be human, not ashamed... *sigh*

It's scary isn't it. I just heard on the news that Pakistan now has a short range ballistic missle that can hold both conventional and nuclear weapons. I shudder to think of the future.

I guess I stopped being proud of being a human a long time ago... :( Sometimes, I'm glad I don't have any children, because I'm ashamed of the world we're leaving them...
