Here's some of the things people do,that drive me crazy. Parking in a handicapped zone(I DO CARE even if it's just for a second)But, on the other hand it seems too easy to get access to handicapped plates in U.S.A. Kids screaming at the top of their lungs,"Marco Polo,"in the pool at my apartment complex. Then those same kids running around the pool.(God forbid one of them slips on the wet cement.) People not asking first if it's ok to smoke in someone's house.(as they're lighting a cig.)there are a few more....post them later.

when people don't take their shoes off when they come into my house. when someone doesn't say please and thank you. when people cut you off in traffic and then they give you the finger. :O jade

When the computer or mouse don't work properly. (This is enough to get me screaming blue mruder a either the mouse or screen!) When people are late for meeting up with me. I'm a stickler for being on time or early (Got it from my Dad!) and I can't stand waiting for ages or the other person to turn up. This was pretty annoying for the beginning of my relationship with my current boyfriend, cuz he was NEVER on time! 15 minutes late was the earliest he ever made it... I've got him better trained now though... And my biggest pet peeve is when people aren't economical with time, or efficient. My boyfriend has the most annoying habit of saying he'll go get me a drink or something, and it'll take him half an hour cuz he'll get side-tracked by TV or something else! AGH! Also, when I'm at work and I can see tehre's loads of things that need doing eg- Cleaning tables, getting meals out, drinks, etc... And there's my workmate just wondering round as thugh she's got all the time in the world.... That really bugs me! And, like Jade, I am a stickler for manners... I work in a restaurant, and get SOOOOO mad if somebody doesn't say please or thankyou, or orders me around like I'm a piece of dirt. Yes, I'm a waitress, but that doesn't mean I'm stupid, air-headed, slow, or anything.. (I did actually get called thick once by a man who didn't like the way our head chef had cooked his scrambled eggs. I then promptly responded with a list of my qualifiations, the A-levels I was studying, and the Universities I had applied to... He shut up. })) Kiama

:mad: I hate it when people leave litter everywhere, on the streets, along highways, in nature reserves, everywhere... People sometimes drop litter on the street only a few steps away from a litter bin, because they're simply too lazy to walk the few steps to the bin and they couldn't care less... The amount of litter in the sea also annoys me, especially plastic (bags, cups, etc.) because it can be really dangerous. Turtles will take a plastic bag for a jellyfish and try to eat it, but they will suffocate on it. Whenever I'm diving and I see a plastic bag floating by, I always pick it up and take it with me.

I have issues with leaving the toilet seat in the upright position... I hate it! (Very un-manly of me :P) Also... The toilet paper has to be put on so the pattern is facing outward... My room mate NEVER hangs up the bath mat and when ever I get to it, it is already soaking wet and useless... grrrrrr...

rudeness and inconsiderate behaviour in general. i deal a lot with this as i work at a bank, some people are just such jerks (?), they don't even notice what they do, that's the worst part of it. today i had a customer on the phone, he is famous/well-known for bad behaviour, he was cursing me and calling me things i can't even translate. kaz

I hae that toilet paper must face out thing too! If toilet paper or paper towels arent I will turn them around if I can remove them, even if Im at someone elses house or a restaraunt lol. My husband insisting I take the bag out of the trash can, tie it up, ad sit it by the front door before he'll take it out. Neer mind he doesnt get to it right away and the kids rip it up, if I dont do it the trash will fill to overflowing and he will NEVER take it down. My husband not wiping up the counters when he cooks so i hae to try to clean dried on crud later. Also him anouncing to me when the kids are doing something instead of dealing with it himself (OK so most of them do with my husbad lol) People talking badly behind other people back. My grandparents did this all the tie about their so called friends. Made me paraoid. People who randomly butt into stragers lies, like coming up to you and saying, Your kids should be wearig coats, ad stuff like that. Deal with your own kids, leave me alone. Also sayig you CANT hae certain religious beliefs. Also people trying to force their worldview on others. People randomly showig up at my house without calling I guess I get anoyed easily lol :THP

Most of my pet peeves have to do with sounds...I absolutely hate when someone snaps their gum (Argh!). I'm also bothered by soup-slurping, walkmans so loud that you can hear the music too, the TV too loud, etc. (Guess I'm weird that way) I'm also bothered when someone sitting right next to me is biting their nails (yuk), when someone takes up three seats on the subway (one for their bag!), and when people don't get up to give their seat to the elderly or pregnant women (how can they be so rude?!). Hmm, what else? Bad drivers--tailgaters, too slow/fast. Rude people in general. *I really don't complain a lot--honest ;)*

*too much perfume. i quit smoking about 8 months ago and since then my nose is really sensitive. *rude people who lack compassion. *crumbs in my bed *people expecting to get away with anything (like patrons at the library who never ever pay fines and are constantly late with their books) and the number one thng - don't ever wake me up when i am sleeping... i will bite your head off.

Small things that annoy me are: chewing with your mouth open and scraping silverware on your plate. Ick! That's like fingernails on a blackboard to me! My biggest pet peeve actually has to do with shopping. I hate going to the store and having to wend my way through people who refuse to move their )#$%*^)(*#%#&%&#$ shopping cart out of the middle of the aisle! Especially if they are no where near the cart and they have left their purse or (yes, it happens, i've seen it) their CHILD in the cart! ARRRGGGGHHHH! My sister hates this too and if she gets really fed up she'll take the person's cart (as long as there is no child) and push it all the way down to the end of the aisle and out of her way! :D Rhiannon :)

Waiting for my bill in a restaurant drives me round the bend. Sometimes I get the feeling that one waits longer for the bill than for the actual food. People who let their dogs poo in the middle of the pavement make me want to rub their noses into it, or worse. I can't stand people moaning about the weather, especially when it's raining. I find it quite decadent. Moaning about the rain falling on their heads when some people have bombs falling on their heads, now that's a real cause for complaint. And others see their kids dying 'cos the crops have failed due to drought. It's got on my nerves ever since I was a little kid.

My husband is the biggest shopping cart offender! I yell at him constantly! Hes one that even does it with the kids in it. It annoys me to no end. Of course, Im the senile one that forgot the cart a couple aisles away once with the kid in it, stupid me.

It bothers me to no end when people use the last of the toilet paper, paper towels, or soap in the bathroom and don't replace them!!!! I usually go find someone and ask if they used the last bit!!!!! It's actually kind of funny because if it wasn't them I can see them relax as they say no. If it was them they kind of cring as they say yes!! LOL OH OH OH (jumping up and down) one of my biggest pet peeves here on the forum is people asking for a link to see a deck instead of going and doing a search for themselves!!!! I mean, are you just lazy or actually don't know how to use the search function on your computer???? There are a couple of people who, no matter how many times they've been given links to wicce or tarot passages, always ask for a link!! I mean go look for yourself. We're not your personal search engines!!! OK, sorry I went off on a rant there for a minute! Now that's off my chest I feel much better! LOL :D

i have another one... not that i encountered it here though - so this is not directed to anyone here. but i so hate it when people talk about books and list a number of titles and no authors. perhaps it is the librarian in me;)

i hate it when i'm watching something really exciting and my husband breaks in and says,"i don't understand what's going on. why did she do that?" blah! blah! if we're at home, i explain during a tv commercial. but it's extra irritating at a movie and he's wounded if i don't patiently explain the past 30 minutes while trying to keep on eye and ear on the screen. ppl who aren't bothered by hurting the feelings of others. ppl who call my husband but if he's not home they want to bend my ear for a while. definitely when you give someone the "i need to go now" signals and they ignore me and keep talking. ppl who disrespect other religions and lifestyles. ppl who think it's permissable to push their religious beliefs on me. ppl who watch me in my backyard from their yard and talk about me loud enough that i can hear. talk about rude! ppl who don't control their dogs. ppl who don't take care of their pets or are neglectful or abusive.
