I couldn't believe my eyes when I read the news this morning. And they are going to release hundreds of her supporters too.
I wish her husband was with her to celebrate.
Sometimes there's GOOD stuff in the news.

FINALLY!
This is really *good* news. Have you seen the movie about Burma starring Patricia Arquette: 'Beyond Rangoon'? http://us.imdb.com/Title?0112495
I signed up as a member in Amnesty International afterwards. It's a great movie which reflected the Burmese situation well.
Blessings,

Yes that's good news, it was "in the air" since last week but with this kind of government, it is always better to wait until things actually happen ...
And this Pim guy, leader of the fascist party in Netherlands who got shot ? The world and its political side is all weird to me ...

I am more and more impressed with these Forums...
NOW I ALSO HAVE A PLACE TO DISCUSS POLITICS!!!
WOWOWOW!!! :D
DIANA!!! :* ;)
It's a da*n confused period... before I post my view on French President, the Dutch one being shot and this thread, I must think about it... I must elaborate my thoughts in words well...
MALACHITE!!!! IT WAS GREAT OF YOU TO POST THIS!!!
It is only after I noticed your post that I could see headlines and stuff... THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Pollux: no honey, I don't think you've found a place to talk politics. The most efficient and quickest way to make enemies and mess up friendships is to get into political discussions.
Let's keep these forums nice and Tarot orientated, okay??? With some nice friendly fun Chat to "gel" us together (like Jade says so aptly.)
A kiss and a wink for you too, my mischevious friend!

OK, I'll dismiss my teen-like political excitement...
I agree with you that political discussion is the best way to mess up friendships and all, yet I keep doing my best to prevent this from happening. And I sense it is not such a huge effort to me, actually. :)
I have tons of friends who just don't share my view, and when it comes to politics, well... the atmosphere grows more excited and stuff, but after some heat-up and enough words for a sore-throat, I just stop, and contemplate how wonderful it is to have a view. They shine to my eyes. Don't care whether leftist or else... Awareness nowadays is becoming rare, as far as the places and people I occur to stumble into are concerned (what a contorced sentence! ewwwwww! :)), and I appreciate it anyway...
Probably I tend to dislike the politically-alike friends more... I am so weird... I just detest their fake questioning... Especially when they question my questioning of their fake questioning...
I had no plan whatsoever to turn this into a Politically-oriented Forum or else... and I wouldn't have a chance either. ;) :P
Well, enough said... TOO MUCH SAID.
P.S. By the way, can I still share my views when threads are started?

Pollux: of course you can share your views. As long as they concur with mine!! :P ;)
