deosil & widdershins

These words sound familiar to me. It seems in childhood I remember a song. Is there a childs song that has these to words in it? How does it go if there is?

I don't know of a song with them in but widdershins takes me straight back to my childhood. Widdershins means going counterclock wise against something, I think its an old witches term like skyclad. My Nan used to go mad if I stirred a saucepan counterclockwise, she used to say 'it bad luck to stir widdershins. Mind you, she also told me to break the shells of hard boiled eggs after I had eaten them to stop sea witches from sinking ships lol Oh yea and she also told me not to whistle on Sundays and to never play cards on the Holy day lol You'd have bever believed she had a very colourful life and lived until 96, and she was no saint :D

check out the poem that my soul-mom wrote about our company! i'll post it below. deosil is clockwise and widdershins is counterclockwise. deosil brings energy in and widdershins removes energy. soooo, if you have pain and you are putting on something to remove it you use widdershins! and moisturizer, you put on deosil! in light, jade ~~~ OUR MAGIC IS ENTIRELY WHITE, FOR DARKNESS, DO NOT USE IT. Entwined within each spell is Light, if used for dark, you'll lose it. A warning then, from me to thee, you know the power of three times three means what thou wouldst put out, my friend, comes back at thee, thrice without end. Gentle breeze and powers of AIR, dragon fly and hummer fair, Stinging wasp and busy bee, jungle feathers, rare to see. Burnished roots and precious leaves; wands and staves, bequeathed by trees, Fragile wings and magic sands, things from most exotic lands. So dark and rich, the EARTH, our Mother; things from on, and things from under, Charms and bags and graveyard stones, Witch-bottles to protect our homes. Minerals of many kinds, things we dig for in our mines, And things we bury out of sight, which guard us, in both day and night. Swirl of WATER, wisp of fog, (oh yes, we stock the whole dried frog), Things that grew in water, too, and scrying mirrors of darkly hue. thank you for sharing maggie's poem with us, jade! what a treat! deosil can also be looked at as the sun's movement, and widdershins as the earth's movement.

she is .......... in more ways that you can even imagine! she's one of the absolutely most special people i have ever had the pleasure of knowing. :D as you can tell, i'm her biggest fan!!! i have never met anyone who walks their talk more than she does. :D love jade ps the poem is about our company and all the products we can and will make for a customer (shameless plug heehee)
