I read this book a few years ago and I can't remember the title or who wrote it,but I really would like to find it.
So here goes....
This girl (maybe in her late teens) is staying at a relative's house(aunt or grandparents, can't remember) there's a stone wall out by the forest and everytime she sits in a certain spot she's transported back in time. When she does go back in time there are druids(I think) living there. It goes through this whole thing of her interacting with them and then telling certain people back in the 'present time'
Ok so it sounds a little cooky, but trust me it's a really good book.
I hope someone has read this too and and can help me find it.
If it helps,I think this was one in a series with similar themes. Oh,and the girl has red hair.

swirly--
was this book part of a children's series?? same girl through the series?? there's a lot of series similar, but not quite that one. i'll see what i can find. in the meantime, have you read the narnia series by c.s.lewis? great set of seven-- starts with 'the lion, the witch and the wardrobe'.

I know it wasn't part of a children's series it was acctually quite long,a couple hundred pages at least. I'm pretty sure that it was in the young adult category. I haven't read the other books in the 'series',so I can't tell you if it was the same girl in all of them.
steve,
I have a friend who was going on and on about 'the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe' a few years ago. I should check it out sometime.
In the meantime,I guess I'll just go to amazon.com and......blindly wander around looking for my mystery book. Because ya know,it'll bug me forever if I don't find it.
Oh by the way,I'm from central PA too!
