Can anybody help me out?

I was just wondering if anyone knows any good sayings, I happen to love a good saying (also humerous ones) with a deeper meaning to them. For example about four years ago when I first came into contact with Reiki it finally dawned on me where the saying "Healing Hands" came from. Do any of you know of any good (humerous or serious) sayings? One of my favourites is "We don't see things the way they are...We see them the way WE are" ;-) Mara

This one is someone else's signature. I can't remember whose but I LOVE IT. :D Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

You've reached middle age when all you exercise is caution. :D The only thing in life achieved without effort is failure. :) Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one getting burned. :( Hurt leads to bitterness, bitterness to anger, travel too far that road and the way is lost. :P If a small thing has the power to make you angry, does that not indicate something about your size? :rolleyes:

:) I just realized that most of you have some sort of saying as your signature and I'm having a wonderful time reading them :) Thanks for the ones that already posted some extra ones, some of them are really cool.
