Crop Circles

The formation of crop circles... how, why, and by whom do YOU think are these glyphs produced? :) Whirlwind or plasma vortex? Earth energies? Extra-Terrestrial origin? Underground archaeological? Military experimentation? God force? Or hoaxes?

It's very difficult to judge the authenticity of things like crop circles, because all sorts of people make all sorts of claims and it's hard for the average person to figure out what's a legitimate claim and what isn't. For example, an "expert" may claim that something is scientifically impossible, but how do we know that it really is? I think it's pretty well established that many crop circles are hoaxes, because people have admitted to doing them, shown how they did them, etc. I suppose they could be lying, but it seems easier to believe that there was a conspiracy to create crop circles than that there is a conspiracy for people to not create them but say they did. I once did a lot of reading to try to determine if there was reasonable photographic evidence for the existence of UFO's as coming from other worlds. After looking at lots and lots of pictures, I finally came to the conclusion that there's simply no way to come to a conclusion based on photographs. No matter how convincing, any photo or video can be faked (this is becoming more and more true as computerized film and video technology advances). In the end, all you're left with is tiny dots on paper or film, which anyone can interpret as they please. It seems to me that the same sort of uncertainty hovers around crop circles. It would be nice if some journalist who was relatively unbiased would write something about crop circles that was neither overly skeptical nor overly credulous. Perhaps someone has and I just haven't seen it. -- Lee

I think we are a little arogant if we thing we are thing only intelligent life forms out here. There was an idea that I think someone said on here about people coming back from the future, and that is the UFO's. I have not seen the movie Signs, but I think that they are here for a purpose, we just need the roghjt "Code" to figure it out.

i believe that they aren't from here although i think that now, some people create them to try to create disbelief in the authenticity of them. make sense? jade
