Yesterday I saw yet another documentary on Discovery Channel on the curse of the pharaohs (one of their favourite subjects it seems ;) ).
What do you think about it, do you think it exists? Were all the "mysterious deaths" in Howard Carters archaeological team after unearthing Tutankhamun's grave really mysterious or just an unfortunate coincidence?

Tut had the whammy, - no doubt.

when i read ancient history at uni my teacher told me that of all professions arceologist had the longest life.
they either died really young, but that was indeed very rare - or they lived to be almost 100 years old.
so i would say they were just coincidents.
same as with the cast from poltergeist.
it is actually strange that not more people died back then in the 20:ies.
the excavation lasted more then 10 years and the enviroment was harsh with dampness and cold.
and carter himself lived on until his 60:ies or 70:ies if i remember correctly.
but still, life would be boring without an odd tale now and then ;)

Well...if everyone tells you...'You're gonna die!' for several months...i imagine the stress levels rocket...
