~ *Everyone* can get an avatar now

I am not sure if everyone realises it but there are some new avatars and *everyone*, despite the amount of posts or whether or not you are a subscriber, can get one of the general avatars now. There is a larger range of general avatars if you have made more posts. Just thought you would like to know... :D

do I get one plastered underneath my username - do I write to someone in particular, or go to the list and click on one ... HELP

Sullanciri, At the top screen go into user cp, then click on edit options. At the bottom of that click on change avatar and take your pick.

I'll do that the moment I hit a 100 posts. Feel tempted to go for the extra cost and the custom-icon though .....

You don't have to wait until you hit 100 posts... if you like, you can do it now. -- Lee

:) thanks for letting us know this Kayne. I've been away for awhile and started reading some posts today and noticed that some of you have different avatars.......some of them are really really great. Lee, you say you don't have to wait for 100 posts to get an avatar you want but if you want you can get it now......HOW? Any way I'm going to continue reading the posts now coz I've missed doing that!!!!! Mara

I'm almost at 100 posts too. When you reach 100 posts do you get a different selection of avatars by using the top buttons or does someone email them to you?

from what i understand of what kayne said, you don't have to wait to get 100 posts in order to have an avatar. you can get one just as soon as you want. it sounds like your selection of pictures is greater as you go, so maybe will have more options at 100. i think you still have to have 500 posts to get a personalized and special one from kayne, but am uncertain. (i tried to send him money and offer him ummm "exchanges" for mine in advance, to no avail. ) :( JK!!!

I'm a citizen now!! Yippee! I chose this avatar because it's "Royal" blue. :) Yogi Cat - go to User CP at the top of the screen... click on Edit Profile... go down to the Signature area and just type in what you want. Cat

just got my 100-icon as well - felt this one suited my "nightfire" sort of spirit best. Can't wait till I get to 500, got a nice one set aside.

Kayne, I think your artwork is out of this world!! I hope I have the honor of you doing an avatar for me, I already know what I want, just can't post fast enough to get 500!
