~ Ink day *finally*

Alright... at 3 o'clock this avo' I have an appointment with none other than the tattoo artist. It's actually about to happen! I ahve kinda' been putting it off and then, after the death of my Morgan SuperCat I designed a new tat that was *perfect*. I went straight away to have it done, that day, and I was told I had to book in advance... so I did. I wish I could have had it done that day because I was ready... now I have had a few days to think about it... But I am going to do it! This is the new design. The Double Ouroborus is derived from the symbol for the Never Ending Story that Liliana posted on Aeclectic a few months ago. I loved it right away but did quite a bit of adapting to really suit me... (Thanks for posting it Liliana :*) I'll let you know what it was like getting it done this evening... :P btw - I still plan on getting that Knight of Cups tat... just not right now...

OH, how cool kayne!!!!!! I love it!!! Great job!!! I still haven't gotten the one crystal did for me yet. I have to find a good tattoo artist in my new city!! :-) I can't decide where on my body to put it yet either though??? hmmmmm

Thanks folks :D I am going to get it on the top of my right arm. That is a good spot to show off in casual type situations but easy to cover when I feel the need... :D

I Hope we will be in touch still when I get mine, cos I want it designed by you. :P I only just noticed that the serpents are *really*symmetrical, and that you probably used one desgin twice, mirror/flipped or rotated... Cheater!!! *LOL* We all expect a photo on here. *Pollux picks its X-Rays-Screened Sun Glasses :cool:*

I am not going to descibe the lovely mix of gooze, red, green & black ink, blood and puss... eww... I knew it was going to hurt but I wasn't really prepared for it to bleed... I should have known though. What a bizarre experience! I will tell you if it was worth it when it has all heeled up... :P And I will definately post a photo... :D

Oh, did I forget to mention that it doesn't feel too good, and you tend to bleed, and it really doesn't look all that pretty for about a week or so? *smiles all innocent* It will turn out really good looking, though. Just be careful when washing it and stuff so it doesn't dry out.

And DON'T SCRATCH IT! When I first had mine done I scratched and some portions of the ink came out and were missing from the design for a few years until I had it re-done. Just sort of smack it to shock it if it starts itching. R :)

ooo... Forgot about that, Rhiannon. *nods* Yeah, kayne, what she said. :) And don't start to peel it when it gets flaky, or the color will get spotty. If it's deep enough, it might make it bleed again, too.

Have you ever seen the Neverending Story Kayne? If not you should rent it, dont bother with the sequels if you dont want to but I love number 1, none of the sequels compare :) :THP
