can you add to the list? 1. Falling in love 2. Laughing so hard your face hurts. 3. A hot shower. 4. No lines at the supermarket 5. A special glance (not from the teacher) 6. Getting mail. 7. Taking a drive on a pretty road. 8. Hearing your favourite song on the radio. 9. Lying in bed listening to the rain outside. 10. Hot towels fresh out of the dryer. 11. Finding the sweater you want is on sale for half price. 12. Chocolate milkshake. (or vanilla!) (or strawberry) 13. A long distance phone call. 14. A bubble bath. 15. Giggling. 16. This one was actually hard for me, so I looked at everyone's before to see what applied. 1-Good dreams of my boyfriend 2-My children 3-Precious memories 4-Waking up and realising you still have a few hours left to sleep 5-Midnight phone calls that last for hours 6-Getting mail from friends 7-A good conversation 8-Going to a really good concert 9-Running into an old friend and realising that some things (good or bad) never change. 10-The beauty of nature 11-Surprising someone with something wonderful. 12-My checking account being off and it's on the positive side,hehe 13-ADCs 14-Seinfeld 15-A great book

I smiled today. Two ducks had walked up the road from the lake (a long walk) and were waddling along to the big fountain in the neighbourhood park. They had stopped all the traffic on a very busy street. But the funniest thing was, they were crossing the street on the Pedestrian crossing!! People got out of their cars to watch and it was just so funny.

Since many of the things I would have listed are already listed here on my fellow Aeclecticians lists, I will add: an elderly couple that still holds hands while they walk together; my children trying to catch fireflies at dusk on a summer evening; the way my husband sticks his tongue out of the corner of his mouth when he's helping the kids with homework; a rainbow; my youngest blowing on a fuzzy white dandelion; how excited my dog gets when I say the words "Let's go for a walk"; watching my toddler nephew discover things for the first time; turning off the lights and turning on the Christmas tree lights; decorating my house for Samhain/Halloween; rolling around in piles of crunchy leaves; seeing my daughters dance with their Daddy; the smell of pumpkin pie; :TEMPS Starfish

Cats Chocolate Sun, Moon and Stars Primroses and Violets All my favourite folksongs and music My stuff - books, jewellery, my Mucha posters and mirrors, my cat plates and my glass candlesticks (I'm an earth sign - can I help it if I like material things?) Memories of my visits to sacred sites - Glastonbury, Cadbury, various stone circles and a holy well in Northumberland that had such an air of eternal calm and peace about it that it almost seemed to be in another world Jilly no people in my list - I suppose I don't like people much! ;)

1. My Bennycat doing funny things (like climbing into my shopping bag). 2. Smell of "Kirschenmichel" (a very special cherry cake you best eat warm with vanilla sauce). 3. A bar of almond chocolate. 4. Seeing a new tarot deck I wanted for ages. 5. Hearing/reading a good joke. 6. A pun. 7. A rainbow in the sky. 8. Going for a stroll in stormy weather. 9. Smelling flowers. 10. Having some time to share with you. See, it doesn't take much to make me happy.

Just a few to add: forget winning a game..what about loosing a real fun game played with friends.. watching your brothers horseplay - especially when you consider they ain't exactly young anymore...lol and as for children..seeing the wonder in my girls eyes when they saw a belly dancer in a resteraunt for the first time... A friend just sent me an email with these quotes and they made me smile!! :) Living on Earth is expensive, but it does include a free trip around the sun every year. How long a minute is depends on what side of the bathroom door you're on. Birthdays are good for you; the more you have, the longer you live. Happiness comes through doors you didn't even know you left open. Ever notice that the people who are late are often much jollier than the people who have to wait for them? Most of us go to our grave with our music still inside of us. If Walmart is lowering prices every day, how come nothing is free yet? Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once. Don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened. A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.
