Did you know that if you go to Israel to study Qabalah, you have to be a married man, over 40, with at least two children!
I just thought this was a pretty cool fact which you probably won't ever use!
And here's anther Judaeo thing for you: Gofind a Hebew version of the Torah. (You probably won't find one, so just take my word for this. Actually, take the magazine I read it in- Prediction-'s word for it) Now, if you read the 49th or 50th letter from the the end of the first word, it spells out 'Torah' repeatedly! Interesting....

Oh, Yes- I knew that fact , Kiama -- except for the two children part. Why would the number of children matter?
I was just given this Qabalah/tarot site and maybe you ( out there) might want to check it out. www.byzant.com

interesting site. thanks Kiama.
i'm not surprised about the article though, since everything in the Torah is numerologically encoded (supposedly).
so, has anyone here seen the movie 'Pi'?

The Qabalah is for me a very intruiging system of thoughts, and are as well very diverse.
The original Judaic Kabalah had less emphasis on the tree of life, and more so on the wisdom behind the words of the Torah.
And I am not suprised that the Hewbrew Torah could reveal more than at first glance, all religous texts have this in common after all.
About the rule of being 40 years old and a man, I somehow doubt that it applies to the mainstream of Judaic community anymore.
But then again, there are many traditions and schools of thoughts in with regards to the Qabalah that it is hard to be certain.
Personally, I feel that I am just beginning to embark upon the study of the Qabalah, and it goes to show that the more you learn, the less you know that you know.
