My aura has been seen as mauve to violet but was spread far, far out. Should I try to draw it in closer on thes eoccasions or ignore it. Also what does this colour mean. Can anyone explain this please.

I do not know about auras. The only thing that I know about purple is that to the Native American people it is the color of healing. There are seven colored stepping stones that lead the seeker to the Great Silence.
Lavendar is the last.

Thankyou lunlafey, Native American wisdom interesting subject.
Any suggestions for good Aura & or Hopi Indian books? I don't see auras well but often see bright deep blue marks in various positions on people, don't understand this either. I've wasted a lot of years studying things but now have time to study the right things.

i tend to pull my aura in when i'm in a mall for example......at home i let it all hang out LOL
the colours can mean anything to you personally.
i use the colours of the chakras with reading auras. so purple or violet would be very spiritual in nature. although, if you see auras as the same colour all the time i don't think i would put too much weight on the colour.
the marks you are referring to, perhaps, could be areas of blockage in their auras? or areas of strength? feel what is right for you.
in light,
jade :)

Y'know...I still haven't got the hang of auras...seeing or controlling...
But I have heard that pinkish colours can be a sign of being in love, in some way...with a person, or perhaps with an idea...
Best of Luck

Blumoon....
Kiama once tried to explain it to me as something thats easier when you're tired...i think its eye relaxation tho...once you hit a certain age, your mind filters out things like auras, so you have to re-train, i think.
Sometimes i just get an impression of a colour, rather than seeing it full-on...I am still amazed that some people see really thick colours and patterns...I want that!...
The usual practice thing, as far as i know, is to place an object in front of a white or very pale background...or holding your hand up in front of a white wall..but that gets painful after too long...;)

To all who answered me I am most grateful for help.
Friend once told person of my then limited ability & brought this person to stay with us. Comfortably never spoke to me for a week, but whilst sitting altogether, very relaxed, room was suddenly completely filled with beautiful pink swirling smoke. I jumped up in shock but peson grabbed & held me tight & said that was why had never spoken to me.
This person explained he had been sending total spiritual love to me all week. It worked. Powerful telepathy (over 400miles) then developed immediately between us until he died years later. I've never forgotten the pink.
Better shut up, I talk too much. LOL

Thanx cricket, haven't tried objects, will do. Successful (limited) stand before mirror, cream/white background dusk/dawn light. Relax, fix gaze on 3rd eye area. Seen with peripheral vision but disappears if move gaze. Stuck at that. Same light, distant trees on horizon interesting. Same technique.

I am able to see auras of trees on a light coloured background.
Jade, how do you bring in your aura. I'd like to be able to do that for when I go out.

I saw an aura for the first time last week.
It belonged to a man at church, and I saw it after spending most of the entire service 'looking' at everyone. This is easy to do for back of the church pew sitters like me.
Anyway, his aura was very very clear to me. So much so, I could stare right at it and still see it. No 'if or maybe' about it. It was a steady glow of orange, and there just as clearly as if he were an orange lightbulb.
I 'looked' at people again this week. I tried with just about everyone - but again, I could only see an aura for this one man. But this week, it had entirely different properties. It was white/silver, smaller, more intense near him and seemed to 'trail' when he moved his head... the way you can set your computer mouse to leave a trail... same sort of thing.
Does anyone have any insight to share. I know nothing... nothing at all about such things.
