My first Circle

Tonight I attended my first circle. It was an amazing experience that I felt I had to come and share with all of you. :) A friend and I frequent a local bookstore where the owner has workshops and such after hours. Tonight she was holding a "sacred circle". We decided to attend and see what it was all about. The women in this group were amazing! We didn't know any of them, but they all seemed to know each other from working with each other previously. But even so, we both felt graciously welcomed. We passed around a "sacred talking stick" and each spoke something from our hearts that we felt we needed to share. Several of the women were Reiki masters and you could feel the energy pouring out of them! At the end of the circle we were asked to visualize all the healing energy going out to those who need it. As I closed my eyes I could "see" the swirling vortex of blue and yellow light. I felt as though I was breathing it in and then breathing my own part of it back out again. It was a truly amazing experience. For those of you who have never done this before I highly recommend it. It is a humbling and inspiring experience. One I can't wait to repeat! Rhiannon :)

I have only done circles on my own never in a group in my area there is not too much group activities alot of solitaries though. Its sounded like you had a very enlightening experiece. Circles can be very fun and healing and loving and great and did I leave something out. Whenever i cast them strange syncronisities always come around. They are a truly beautiful experience. I am glad you got to attend with so many Reiki masters. I am studying Reiki and need to attend a class so I can get an attunement. Can't seem to find much of that in my area though. I wish I could attend a circle myself... I think I will attend one as soon as I organise one myself!!! LOL It is always nice when someone decides to share these experiences... I am happy for you! I really am!!! :) This will help me wait for my time... a future in which evenings at the Circle and nights in the Moonshine will be a pleasant routine... *he's wishing on a star* WOWOWOW!!! Rhiannon, now you just got me feeling like it. I must get organised... *he flies to gather back-up and other members...*
