Hi all,
I am not sure this thread belongs here but I trust Kiama to move it to any other section (chat ?) if she feels it doesn't fit here.
Here is my request : would some european netties be kind enough to recommend me some esoteric on-line shops where I could find a good selection of pendulums and stones (desperately looking for a moonstone) ???
I can use with any advise, recommendation, warning etc.
I have done some research but I get such an impressively long list of shops ! For most of them, I can't even guess from the site address whether they are in Europe or not and especially whether they provide a good and honest service or not !!!
Thank you very much in advance !!!!

What sort of moonstone, in raw form, or as jewelry?

Hum.. I was hoping I could carry it, watch at it (and show it ?!) all the time with me so jewelry would be nice !

Hi Kissa,
There are a few places here around such as May fair etc, where you can get esoteric jewellry + stones etc. at reasonable prices. I often by my stones, jewellry there.
I would not recommend buying stones on the internet as I prefer touching them. It is important if they get warm in your palm very quickly or if they turn the colour, etc.
There is a guy living not too far from me who seems to have a quite interesting stone collection either as raw materials or put into jewellry. I intend to pay him a visit and to have a closer look at his collection this week. Shall I ask him if he sells also abroad?

Oh yes, sure, it would be very nice of you, catlin. I know I can trust you ! :)
I guess I would have to investigate how I can pay him though... No problem, if you still have my e-mail address and this guy wants to get in touch with me, don't hesitate to give it to him ! (If you don't have it anymore, I'll send you a PM with it.)
THANK YOU VERY MUCH !
Kissa
PS : remember when I told you that it was hopeless to get proper decks in Finland ? Well I should have said pretty much the same about getting anything esoterics ... Are Finns too rational ? Or do we assume that Finns are only interested in spending their money on Nokia cellphones ?????? ARGH !!!!!!!!!!

I ordered crystals from a french site. The guy is a real guru, giving conferences around the world and he has written three books, four still in progress.
He seems to have an ego the size of Texas: I e-mailed the "contact" address before ordering as I like to see what kind of service you get from the ppl behind the machine, if they answer fast and seem serious. I wrote him that the site was really well-made but a bit "impersonal" maybe as you cannot figure out if he is the author of the book they sell on the site OR the author of the site itself. The guy got all defensive about having no time to be more public as he does everything himself and travels and hasn't had a proper holiday for four years... Well, I apologize if I hurt his feelings and he said "when you work with crystals you are emotionnally really resistant and forgive easily to the innocents" (meaning the stupid ones who don't know the heck about anything). Ok. I am used to american sites who are very friendly and you get the pic and firstname of the owner everywhere, stupid me...
Anyway .... he really had a nice crystal that I wanted and at least, I was sure there was actually someone behind the site ;) so I swallowed my pride and ordered a few stones (rock crystal, moonstone, sodalite...).
You can check the pics of his site, there are nice.
http://www.crystal-energy.com on the first page click "Entree" then go to "Crystal shop" and choose from the left menu "pierres et cristaux". You get a long grey list of stones names. Click the one you want to see and the "VALIDEZ" square at the end of the red line "Choisissez votre pierre puis >>". There is no english version for the moment. I wouldn't dare writing to the guy about that, he might get REALLY angry ;)
