About spirits

I posted in another thread about seeing ghosts that I sometimes see these "shadows" and lunalafey told they're probably spirits. I believe it might be the spirit of my grandfather, because the "shadows" always occur near the desk where I keep his picture. I would like to know more about this, because I don't know anything at all about spirits. Is there a way to find out if it really is his spirit? Are there things I should or maybe shouldn't do? Any advice would be welcome... ;)

Have you tried asking if he's your grandfather? You might get an answer, but be careful some spirits lie. :THP

No, I haven't. Do I ask that question the moment I see something? Or just anytime? And how will I get an answer? I was told some years ago by a psychic that my grandfather was often with me and that I could ask him for help. I've done that on several occasions since, and it works. For example, if I need to make a really difficult decision, I ask him to help me, and then it's as if I can suddenly see things cleary, as if the fog has gone, and I know exactly what to do. So I do sort of "communicate" with my grandfather, but not directly. I guess I also find it a bit scary... ;) PS Would it be possible to use my tarot cards to communicate with this spirit?? Just wondering...

Well, I haven't seen the "shadows" anymore and I haven't asked anything, but my feeling just tells me it's my grandfather. I've been feeling his presence all weekend. As if he was waiting to show himself, but I don't feel up to that yet, so I've asked him to wait. Yesterday, I drew two cards (from my Osho Zen deck) to answer two questions: 1-Why are you here? - 10 of Clouds (Rebirth) 2-What do you want to tell me? - Ace of Clouds (Consciousness) I feel that these cards are telling me that he is here to help me grow and change, to give me understanding, more specifically in my spiritual life. If that is really what he is here for (being still fairly new at tarot, I don't always trust my interpretations just yet...;) ), I feel really blessed to have him here to help me. But then I always knew I had the best grandfather in the whole world... :P
