Dragon and Dragon Spirits

Just as requested I have created a new thread for people to talk about their passions for dragons! Well, I guess I'll introduce my dragon spirit, Shinko! Well, Shinko is a dragon with some personaility! I can see him usually at night... but usually he stays in my mind where I can hear him talking to me... He has some wisdom in him but he can be annoying at times.... but he's a good friend to keep around for a while! ^^ Anyway... I do see Dragons.. but only a few that allow themselves to be seen by me.. a dragon chooses who they want to see them... My friend can see faeiries... but I can't see a single one... I see dragons... and she can't... they are truly magnificent beings in all of the realms... and I do know that I was a dragon in my past life... but I decided to become a human.. and when I die... I will take the lessons that I have learned as a human.... and I'll use them to help others as a human and as a dragon in my next life... o.o;;; Okay... that was a weird beginning!

Mind if I get in? Ahem, I have quite a few. Lucky came to me sometime between Samhain and Yule. He's about a foot and a half long. He's a little Air dragon, his scales are a pastelly yellow green, more yellow, with yellow wing membranes, emerald eyes, belly, spinal ridge, and horns. He's curious about everything. Calm and collective, he usually doen't bitch much. Kip came sometime in January. She's a little smaller than Lucky, and she's a Fire. She is a pastelly crimson-pink with pink membranes, underbelly, and yellow spinal ridge, horns and eyes. She's a little bitch, but I love her. She and Lucky occasionally fight. Then there's Pippin. He came around March 25th. He's and Earth about the size of a horse. He has short wings, a long thick tail, big eyes, and large feet. He's built for running on the ground more than flying. Then I have a large Chaos. She hasn't told me her name, and she's the size of a 2-3 story house. She's silver black with blue undertones and red eyes. I can see fae folk, dragons and unicorns. Mostly dragons. I see them everywhere. I have a friend who has a little Wind dragon. Only a few inches long. --Mystick Dragon (that's what I want to be now ^.^)

Shinko doesn't have those white things near his mouth... I have no idea what they are called though... that's the one and only different thing about them!

so i've probably got the weirdest dragon sighting... i know i've mentioned it before, but my cat is a dragon. or was a dragon in a past life, but now is a cat housing a dragon's spirit, or something along those lines. i don't really question it anymore because my mind can't bend around the concept of a cat being a dragon, but he undeniably is. i've had many other cats, but this is the only cat i've ever known who wasn't actually a cat. he was/is a huge white dragon. ancient. there is an air of wisdom about him that he doesn't really care to share with anyone. he's just sort of a quiet guardian, watching over me, as i watch over him. i get the feeling that we've known each other a very long time. he's the only dragon i've ever seen, though. and when i look at him, sometimes i don't see his cat body, but his grand, white, sparkling scaly body, too big for this world.

cool.... I've never heard of something like that before. IN the graveyard behind my work, a great white dragon guards the gravesights. He has no wings, and is built more like a horse with catfish style whiskers. I've dubbed him the Gravekeeper. I've never seen his whole body at one time, because he is always covered in mists. --Dragon

This is really cool. I have several dragons um....Dragon is watching so i better tell the truth. I actually have about ten that are around all the time. I have 2 air, 1 chaos, 2 water, 2 time, 3 spirit, 2 earth, 2 fire. oww...... 1 more ... she is air/spirit. Sorry i got smacked!!!!! I will try to find them all and desribe them later. Arialinna

You all know that large Chaos? She has finally told me her name: Inferno. I have a 4-5 inch long weather dragon now, and her name is CloudStrike. An I think I may have a Water now, named Spritz. Hehehe. Love em! --Dragon

I think I have one around me. A little Blue and gold one. Azel, I think her name is. don't know about element, though. I'm not too sure. I think I need to meditate a bit more on this.

Phirefly: When you say how your cat is a dragon in spirit but in a cat's body, that is known as one's otherkin. If you want to learn more about it I believe that this website should help you understand about the otherkin topic more. http://www.otherkin.net

shadow dragon: i have a couple of elf and changeling friends, so the idea isn't completely foreign to me... but i hadn't thought of it in reference to my dragoncat. it makes a lot of sense, though :} thanks!

shadow_dragon: okay, a lot to say, and a little to ask. first off, it is very odd that you pointed me to that link in particular. it eventually lead me to looking at pictures of a good friend of mine (joe) and some of his friends at a kin gathering last year :} joe got married recently, and after his wedding, i got to hang out with one of those other guys and talk with him a lot... and i actually found him listed in the directory on that site :} anyway, all of this lead to some conversation tonight at the diner that some of us really needed to have. i had a -[great]- morning, and i get the feeling a couple of my friends did too. we all needed to get a bit more in touch with our spiritual/magical selves a bit more. joe wanted me to ask you if you had ever been to walking the threshhold. and if you did, if you remembered him... skinny bald changeling. he's insane. anyway, for all that, i want to say thank you. :}

well, well, what a topic! At least i am not alone anymore. I also have a dragon. there, i said it. how it came about is that my sister in law who is bipolar claimed she was pshycic when she was in her manic phase. Let me tell you going through the manic phase with a bipolar is a lot like that sled ride in the olimpics. only not as fun. Anyway, she told me she had spirit animals telling her how to live. Well, ok, until her spirit animals started telling her how i should live also. So, in self defense mind you, i dreamed up a dragon. (na na, my spirit is bigger than your spirit, sis.) he is an air dragon, he is long and sinuous with short horns, whiskers, and spikes down his back. he is black with silver feet, shins spikes, and whiskers. his eyes are sky blue. his name is Carbon. he also has these long, i don't know what you call them, things like a snakes tail, one one each side of his face just above his nostrials. they are silver also, flexible and as expressive as eyebrows. hes about 10ft long. the thing is, when she went away, he didn't. he either is, or has decided he is, real. about 6 months later, i found a pewter statue of him in a shop. it isn't the same color as he is, and he is quite insulted about the artist having only given the statue 4 claws on each foot. Carbon has 5 on each foot. that, i found out by reading Tea with the Black Dragon (a book i highly recomend) is quite important if you are one of those dragons who has 5 claws. i was drawn to the Londa deck when i first took up tarot. And, when the deck arrived in the mail i found pictured on the desk of the 8 of Pentacles, the same statue of Carbon as i have sitting on my desk! Londa has owned it for quite a while, she answered when i left a message on her website, and likes it very well. So, i have given up trying to ignore my moonlight side. if i am crazy at least i have youall for good company. i just asked him why youall have more than one dragon and i only have him. he says, "i was invited." Oh, and of course a dragon can be a cat. after all, if it has to be something other than a dragon a cat would be the most logical creature to choose. their minds do work rather alike, you know.

okay, i could say i don't belong on this thread, because i have never seen a dragon, and you all sound crazy. ;) but i have seen a lot of crazy things myself, and i would not in the smallest way be surprised to find out i have a dragon. it would actually sound reasonable. but since i can't see them, how do i find out? i have seen native american guides, ghosts, angels, animal guides, no dragons. no faeries. am i just without them, or just can't see them? *jealous*

I want a dragon!!! is there ne way u can go about getting one, or do they just come to u... Are u born with the ability to see them or do they just choose u? I wouldn't mind having a little dragon around all the time!!! i think it wold be fun! like a wise pet! If ne one has ne info on how u can get a dragon, can u give it to me?

Yes Marion, i did read twisting the rope. It was a sad, wise story and i still have it on my shelf next to tea with the black dragon. I would love to have a print of the wonderful dragon on the cover of that book!

SEorry, Ihaven't been online because my dad dkun approve of the tarot. To attract a dragon, you need figures, and a basic understading of thier lives. You don't see and feel their bodies in a physical way, more spiritual. When they feel comfortable, they tell you their name. Lucky told me right off the bat. Hope that helps! --Mystick Dragon

finally ppl like me! ive had severl dragons around me but really havent been able to tell many ppl, but now i found a place with others like me. ive got 6 dragons that hang around me. there names are Charin(air), Nera(water), Cheetockie(light), Charis(earth), and Ratheian(fire). and X'laya, but shes just a little guardian dragon. I can talk with my dragon friends anytime and im getting to where im able to actually see them, well just thought id put my 2 cents in. hope to get to know u all better

Now, this is amazing! A friend from out of state was visiting and she was laughing at my little dog's spicy personality. She said, "this dog is cyan's little dragon. See how she huffs, and snorts, and tries to breathe fire!" this explains a lot. if pepper (my dog) was a dragon in her last life, or is a dragon in a dog's body, it is no wonder she is somewhat fierce and tempermental. Imagine the adjustment she is having to make.

Hello fellow friends of Dragonkind! My dear dragon came to me unexpectedly. She apparently had been attracted to my bumbling activities on the astral, and decided to investigate. She obviously decided that she liked me, and that I was in some way worthwhile, so she adopted me! She is a large gold and brown Earth dragon, 4 claws, Powerful hind legs, smaller front legs. I asked her name, she said I would never be able to pronounce it. She told me to choose something I would be comfortable calling her, run it by her and if she liked it, I could call her that. After coming up with a few she didn't much care for, we decided on "Dragonmum". It suits her. She is a grand and ancient lady, who is regal to behold. I am so lucky to have such a wise and amazing creature choose to guide and protect me. I love her very much, and she loves me too. She IS my Dragonmum! Woe to the person who would harm me, she won't let that happen. At first I thought this was merely the product of my imagination until all this STUFF started to happen, and I knew that there was a lot more to it. i'm really glad she's here. I can be a silly human sometimes!

Well, there are many ways to call dragons, but this is what works best for me so it may not work for you. Oh, and to make this clear dragons will NOT come to you if their is a single bit of doubt in your heart or mind. These are the steps that I took to call dragons: I usually start off lighting a blue candle because it represents emotions, and I usually have an emotions that I want to ask about or comfront. For an example, if I'm confused about something, I ask the dragons for guidance. Anyway, after lighting the candle, I turn the lights off, and lay down on my bed. (but I have to be comfrotable and calm) I clear my mind, and I close my eyes, then I say a little chant. Dragons of the Watchtower of the East, Dragons of the Watchtower of the South, Dragons of the Watchtower of the West, Dragons of the Watchtower of the North, Dragons that are near, And dragons that are so far, Answer my call, And come to me. x3 So mote it be! Then, I open my eyes and a dragon will come fourth, but sometimes the will move around the room in random areas, so you may have to get up. That's it, but again this may only work for me and not you! This spell came from my heart, my soul, and my mind, so with that in mind it's personal and may not work for others. If this works for you, then I hope you enjoy the presence of dragons. Yay!

hey everyone id like to say there is a new dragon hanging around my house, he is a very LARGE chaos dragon, hes got a platinum back with black underside, his name is Zethaious...and the feeling of his presence is just....WOW!

Man, I wish I had found this forum earlier when this subject was hot! I love dragons, even if I can't see any. I don't think I've ever been able to see any kind of creature but I believe that may be the result of either a) lack of self confidence (some reason they just don't like that stuff) or b) lack of activity on the astral plane. :D I would *love* to have a dragon adopt me!! Q. Has anyone had any success in finding a dragon since this was lasted posted in? I mean those who didn't have a visitor.
