How would one go about learning to see Mythic creatures

Hey all, I was wondering how I would go about learning to see mythic creatures. I know some of you see fae folk, otherd dragons, and I was wondering, Were you always able to see them, or did you learn how. How should I go about this??

Well, I can honestly say that most of the time the magickal creatures will chose whether they want you to see them in physical form, but you can look into this book... "Magickal Mystical Creatures" By: D.J. Conway This book tells you how to summon the powers of the great beast and to aid you in your magick.

A book that I have is called, "A Witches Guide to Faery Folk" by Edain McCoy. It gives you many ideas on how to attract helpful or pleasant spirits into your house and gives a great dictionary, classifying many different faery folk and includes; Land of Origin; Element; Appearance and Temperment; Time most active; Lore, Where to find them; How to contact them and; Magickal and Ritual Help... One way is to attract them. Project your love and interest as much as you can. (some figures on an altar or around doesn't hurt) Also shiny stuff. Dragons especially LOVE shiny, sparkly, or glimmery stuff. --Dragon

Not calling them 'mythical' might be a start! ;) Never thought about this before, but I guess a lot of it is trusting in them, and waiting for them to appear to you, but being accepting enough to see them when they do... try sitting down by candlelight at night, and inviting one in...
