Bad Spirits

Hello All, I have some questions that I need your input on...well, I was wondering, when I do a spread, I know that their are spirits that help me with determining my answer. What I do not know is, if BAD SPIRITS can tap into the cards. If so, can't they lie to you? And if they can, how are we to determine what is coming from a bad spirit, and what is coming from a good one? Everyone's opinion is wanted, thanks Rain

let me use the ouija as example. 1it is only a focus tool for our psychic self 2. it opens up our self to spiritual forces. 3. and because they are doing it for fun and just want to contact any spirit that is how the low level entities get acess :O( 4. allow me to share a story i was using an oujia board about 90 91 for the whole summer of 9 i was fighting thoughts of evil that would talk to me when i was laying there "kill them all" "burn down the house" and so forth i was getting really depressed. but eventually i was abel to get through it . see we were not protecting ourselves when we used it we were just trying it for the novelty. i considered it the tempting as i was facing my own devil and stood my ground. how does this transfer to the tarot cards. it is a bit of a differnt thing 1. the tarot cards are focusing tools 2. and if you do prayer and postive mediation before hand and ask your guardian angel to protect you and the client angel to protect them . i alwasy do 2.1 put a bubble of ligth around us that fills us with light 2.2 picture a figure eight of light with me in one cirlce and the client in the other circle that will harmonized our energies. 2.3 like i said ask the angels to protect us, our spirit guides to assist us. 2.4 affirm to the universe that we want only the highest possible reading with the truth and wisdom 2.5 finally i ground both me and our clients by connecting to the earth picturing roots going through my root center into the center of mother earth and from my crown center i picture a beam of light coming down from the great myster to form a channel. of course we all have our own methods find one that suits you , like incense, sunlight, candles. we all had those fears, and by protecting ourselves from low energies and entities before the reading is the only way i personaly believe we can protect ourselves. another way just occured to me before the reading pick out the sun card put it on top of the card between you. picture the soul of the sun sending you solor light to protect you and raise your vibration and affirm we ask the sun to protect us and surround us with love so we can have a postive reading :O)

i start by casting a circle, sometimes just a simple symbolic one. then, i connect with my spirit guides and teachers. i thank them for their past help etc. and ask for their guidance. i then sit quietly until i feel them with me, before i start my reading. it's so hard to put into words, but they feel like total love and objectivity. most of the time i can actually hear them (in my head) telling me they are with me. hope this helps!

I'm like zorya. I just get in tune with my spirit guides. If you are doing regular readings and not trying to just get in touch with some unknown ghost then everything should be okay. I use the word "spirit" for the spirits in the heavens and I believe all the spirits in Heaven have no evil intention, and I use the word "ghost" for the spirits stuck here on Earth, and if they had evil intentions while they were alive, then I believe they are still keeping there personalities. Now getting in touch with some ghost with your tarot cards may be a different story. That may also cause attraction of other ghosts. So if this is ever done with your tarot cards, I think you should definately make sure you call upon your spirit guides and/or whomever else you call upon for protection. But other than that, like I first stated with regular readings. It is my spirit guides and the faeries that help me when I am using the tarot. Hope this helps! Lin

Holmes, I am in love with you.(I hope you are a guy) If not, then I like your style. Usually when an evil spirit is around I smell sulfur and boy does it stink. I also smell it when someone is extremely upset with me. The devil card will show up alot when an evil spirit is around.reversed or upright. Sometime the tarot cards are exactly as the card says so try not to put tooo much of a New age spin /white light meaning to everything because dealing with human nature can be evil. There is no way around it.

Rain: there are many people who do not think that spirits help in reading Tarot. Tarot can be read by people who do not believe in this type of entity. But if it is what you believe, then I think it would be necessary to ground yourself and surround yourself with light and peace. And only when you feel this peace, to do the reading. Your intuition will tell you if what you're getting is true or not.

hello all. i have posted a few notes this morning and this afternoon about things that i feel strongly about. i have waited, looking at and feeling the energies of those on this forum. its a realy nice place to be for those in touch with their gifts to help others. this should probably go onto the intro page, but i feel as though responding to this subject is as good a place as any. all surf around this domain looking for things that make sense to them. i have mentioned in the other comment one phrase of discernment that has no way of being able to be gotten around by negative forces, or what i and many others call the other side of the wheel. or universal wheel of life. this question can only be answered with an imidiate yes. anything else is something that you do not wish to deal with. the question is "are you working for the master plan of the creator of all that is?" please keep in mind the both sides are unable to lie due to the cost in psychic energy. but the dark side can and will mislead you or allow you to draw the wrong conclusions. energy is energy, it is how one chooses to use it that makes it good or bad. keeping this in mind, know that the dark side can mimic energies that you may feel you have known for years in order to mislead your readings or directions. i do not wish to put fear factors into these things but as close as we are to being able to manifest the christ reality here, the dark side will stop short of nothing to effect that reality. know that the christ reality is already manifest, we are just waiting for linear time to catch up with it. so much more to say but i think this is a good start to introduce myself. please be well and continue in the service of mankind as you already have the infinite knowledge that will bring us all to being one with the creator again. love jonesy

yup i am a guy i just laughed out loud when i read that it really made my day thanks you for reconizing my light :O) that is something i rarely talk about trying to be postive is there is a dark side and sometimes the tarot really does warn there is a dark entity around for if we reconize it it will give him this dark entity power it is better to keep the light up around us and not to acknowledge this dark force and to let it pass. remember alwasy ask the angels, the animals spirits or what you beleive in for protection for if you do not .. that is when the dark entities can have access.
