eyecolor spell!

i used this eyecolor changing spell a few min. ago and i hope it works!

Spell to change eye color...

Make sure it is night when you do this spell. Also, light one orange and one pink
candle.
Close your eyes. (You Must Have complete focus and be concentrating on the
spell, ONLY.) Fill your mind with the color your eyes are. Picture that for about five
minutes. Then picture the color you want. Chant...
'' Become of me,'' three times. Repeat this hole process two times and you will see
changes through the day.

tell me what you think...i want my eye color to be purple. tell me if you think it'll work! i hope it does!

jade  02 Jun 2002
i doubt that this spell will work and spellwork isn't something that should be used lightly chunky. i suggest that you are careful what you wish for.........perhaps getting punched in the face so that your eye's turn 'purple' with bruising would be a yucky way to get your wish!

in light,
jade

destinyawaitsme  03 Jun 2002
well, if you want something to happen bad enough you'll get it. And like jade said, sometimes you might get it in a way you don't expect. Besides, what if you want to change it back and you can't. I would just buy some contacts. ;)

Kiama  03 Jun 2002
I came across an eye-colour change spell about 3 years ago... It seemed weird to me... I think it was created after somebody watched the Craft a few times, and wanted to do all that 'Glamour Magick'...

I agree with Jade: I only do magick when I have serious Need. Cunningham wasn't far off when he said that the three things you need most of all for magick is: Need, Knowledge, and Intent. (Was it intent, or was it something else?)

Faerie Lin  03 Jun 2002
Kiama, I got reminded of the movie The Craft also! Personally I do spellwork for more serious reasons too. I don't believe in all that glamour magick.

Chunkypuffs: are you actually being serious here??

zorya  03 Jun 2002
chunkypuffs,
magic works WITH nature, not against it. never feel that you have to change your appearance to look better. you are a perfect you, just as you are!

jade, i loved your answer:)

Malachite  03 Jun 2002
I figure, if you change energies to flow into you somewhere, then they have to flow out somewhere else...
If you ask the Gods for something, you'd expect some kind of demand in return..you give, you get...
Magic is the same, but you're dealing with the Universe direct. You still have to sacrifice something from somewhere...

I only use magick when I really think i have to. I haven't done any spellwork since February, and that wasn't a personal spell.

Sure, I went through a phase of 'phone-me' spells, and suchforth, but I wouldn't recommend cosmetic magic as a useful tool.

malachite, do you really believe that? i don't see magic that way at all. i don't see any part of my life or being that i sacrifice when i perform magic. perhaps i'm reading this wrong. hmmmmm............enlighten me baby!

love and light,

Malachite  03 Jun 2002
Sorry if I sounded bolshy in that post. I didn't intend to.
Hmmm... Sacrifice wasn;t the best word I could have used, but it came to mind because of the rune threads I've been reading...
Sacrifice in an energy related way...

On a basic level, you give the time, and concentration, to phrase a spell, or a prayer, in the way that you want, and to make it 'nice'...
You don't just say: " Hey (insert deity here), give me lots and lots of luck, pronto!"...
There's more tact. Or at least, I hope so...;)

But, if you're taking energy from somewhere/one/thing, I always assumed it was a given that you were releasing it somewhere else.
Maybe, as a reiki, or an unrequited favour for an absolute stranger.
Maybe as that inexplicable flu you caught last week, or next week.

I didn't mean to say that, when you pray, or spellwork, you sign a little sheet of paper that says "I, being of sound mind, consent to have such-and-such taken from me on the nth day of the nth month yadda-yadda..."...;)
Just that there is some form of energy-exchange that is expected by the Universe, that will occur, will or nay, at some point, even if you don't realise it.
And, being a cynical person, I prefer to name my terms upfront...If I'm asking for big-time energy for an ill or depressed friend, I usually offer *whatever needs to be taken* from my own...

*note to self*...Improve metaphysical vocabulary...

:)

Malachite, you think that's bad? I haven't practiced magick since last August!

Back to the original post. I doubt that that spell will work, especially if you want purple eyes. I tried this spell, and it doesn't work, and if it did, it will only work if you have dark eyes, and want a dark colour. Also, you can only use it to change your colour a colour that already exists in the human genome. Like, hazel to green.

My little piece of advice, if you want to have purple eyes, go to an opticians and get contact lessons.

ya know, forget it. this is the [/u] I ever ask for anyone's opinion on aeclectic!
Now I understand why Funkpuss left our forum!

No way! Please tell me you didn't get upset! I think you are totally getting the wrong vibe from these answers. Please don't limit yourself (and us) to only posting certain type of posts. Even when someone totally disagrees with something, there is something to learn, I seriously don't think that anyone was coming at you the wrong way, just making sure that you are safe.

When I said get contacts, I wasn't trying to be mean, or rude. All I was saying is that if you do want to have purple eyes, contacts would be the best way to go.

I wasn't trying to be mean. Honestly, I wasn't. I was just trying to give advice.

no, it's not this. it's just the rude remarks like: "why don't you just get beat up to get purple eyes." or "why don't you just buy some contacts!"

slinky_jo  04 Jun 2002
Hey Chunkypuffs, relax baby! :D

Yeah, it's not a nice when you feel shot down... I left another board because of it. I try to watch what I say, but sometimes dumb thinks slip out without thinking = see that whole "animal testing" post!!!

... I think what people are concerned about is that there are lots of practising Wiccans, Pagans, Witches ETC here on the board, and to them a spell like that demeans the whole process of spellwork.

INSTEAD of trying to change your eye colour, you could do a money spell to save up for contacts?! There's a lot of awesome money magick spells out there. The one I like best is where you have a little box, and you perform the spell for seven days every month (can't remember whole spell, sorry, but I will get it to you if you want it!)!

ANYWAY - don't be mad at us, we're all human, we make mistakes! Don't leave the forum, it's fun having you here :D It's just your youthful exhuberance! :D hee hee. Anyway, if I couldn't read your posts anymore, there'd be a lot less smiles in my life! So take care, and be well and just shrug it off, babe!!

Diana  04 Jun 2002
Chunkypuffs: if people responded to your posts, it's because we care about you. Otherwise we wouldn't bother. Don't feel attacked or anything. People were just giving their opinions. There's always a danger in asking people's opinions if we are not prepared to hear all the answers. Some answers we think are dumb - then we can ignore them. Some answers we think are aggressive - then we can think that for some reason the question touched some sensitive part in other people's hearts. Some answers we think are intelligent - then we can use them in our lives.

Eyes are very precious to see the world. If you want to change your eye colour, then it would be interesting perhaps for you to find out why this colour is so appealing to you, what it represents, what it means symbolically. In fact you see, from my initial surprise at your post, you have actually made me think more about colours and how we see the world. And I'm thinking now that sometimes we see the world through dark glasses, sometimes through rainbow coloured glasses, sometimes through dirty ones, sometimes through misty ones.

So you know, a seemingly "light-hearted" post, can go real deep.

Please, please don't feel maligned!!

Hugs!!!

Mermaid  04 Jun 2002
Chunky - (((((hugs)))))) don't be upset!

I don't think that Jade really meant you should go and get beaten up when she said your spell might result in getting a bruised eye.

I think she was just pointing out that magick doesn't always work in quite the way that you want it to. For example, you might do a spell for money, and then find that your Grandmother drops dead leaving you an inheritance. The spell worked - but it wasn't worth it. In the same way, if you're not careful a spell for a purple eye might give you a bruised eye - purple, but not the way you wanted it!

Crazy results like this mean you should be really careful when you do any spell work. A good idea, if you don't already, is to include fail safes when you do a spell. By that I mean including something in the spell to prevent it causing harm to yourself or others - just something like asking your deity that the spell be for the highest good of everyone involved.

Let us know how you go with the spell Chunky!

Umbrae  04 Jun 2002
One of my favorite stories as a child was that of “The Monkey’s Paw” written in 1902 by W.W. Jacobs.

It is a wonderful little parable about magic. We all owe it to ourselves to re-read it as adults, to serve as a small remider.

Faerie Lin  04 Jun 2002
Umbrae! I remember that, but it was the old movie!!!!! Whoa! I love it when I get hit with a memory that I completely forgot about!

Sam  04 Jun 2002
fine, i'll stay. but only because of what slinky_jo said!

zorya  04 Jun 2002
chunkypuffs,

no one meant any harm. i can assure you that jade doesn't have a mean bone in her body!
i don't think that everyone knows how young you are. we so easily forget what what it was like to be your age. if you only knew some of the things i tried when i was 12......................well maybe we shouldn't go there, LOL.
i know that magic can be soooo exciting. but it's not something to be played with. we do care about you!
we just don't want anything to backfire on you.

Sam  04 Jun 2002
thanks for the comforting words, zorya.

jade  04 Jun 2002
chunky,

i assume that you are here to share your light and to learn from others. if you didn't want our opinions on your spell then why did you post this thread?

i wasn't telling you to go get beat up. i was only cautioning you to be careful for what you wish for because you don't always get what you want, but rather something different or 'close' to what you meant.

i'm 38 and therefore i have more life-experience than you do. i am attempting to share my experience with you and from the experiences that i have had, i know that it is possible that you would end up with a purple eye from a bruise when asking the goddess to give you purple eyes! i was attempting to caution you, not disrespect you.

personally, i feel that spellwork is very serious business and not something to be taken lightly. have you ever clicked on my link chunky? i sell spells for a living. i assist people in creating their dreams and desires thru spellwork and if any of them asked me for a spell for purple eyes, i would have responded the same way. i'm not the 'know-all' regarding spells by any means, but i do know enough to write 9 workbooks on using spellwork to assist your life (pathways). so please accept my words in the manner that they were given......full of light and compassion. :)

in light,
jade

Angel Star  16 Jun 2002
Ok all this is my opinion on this spell. Someone gave me something similiar to the one that was posted and it almost worked but you have to be totally focused on this spell big time about keeping the particular eye color. I tried it and I could see my eyes actually starting to get blue shades in them. they are brown, but its not an easy one to keep up that type of intense focus. It was very difficult and I would rather go get contact lenses the focus factor is so intense you end up tired.

tigerlily  17 Jun 2002
Ummm .... I hope I don't upset anyone, but - I did change my eye color and my hair color (and no, I don't mean contact lenses and hair dye). The thing is, I don't know how I did it other than thinking that it would be real cool to have red hair ... or black hair ... and after a time (some weeks) people were asking me if I had dyed my hair. My eyes were brown, now they're grey.

I swear that I'm not pulling anyone's leg. I had straight hair and wished I had curls and now I have them. Actually that shouldn't be possible, because of genes etc. But my whole family can attest to it.

I didn't do any spells or rituals and I didn't obsess about it. I just kept that thought in the back of my head and ... well. I agree that it is very vain ;) but I didn't expect anything to happen and as I said, I didn't do any spells. But it is possible, just not instantaneously, and I think you can only do gradual changes - not blond to black or something. And it takes time. And perhaps not everyone can do it and it's just a weird talent of mine.

Angel Star  17 Jun 2002
Tigerlilly its called visualization. The fact that you said you thought about it put it in motion and it did take some time. Some may not consider this spell work but it is a form of it. Making a wish is another form of spell work though some may not call it that at all. When most people do spells it usually because they wish for a change of some kind. Also you said it took some time. You must of been thinking about it alot. Consider that your a great visualizer to bring about subtle changes over time. This is a big part of spell work. Maybe you should consider taking up working on some spells to bring about other changes you may wish for. Take care

Sam  17 Jun 2002
cool!

tigerlily  18 Jun 2002
Angel Star: You know, I actually never really believed in my magickal abilities ... I saw what my brother and sister were capable of and thought I was the odd normal sibling :D (like in the old "Munsters" series LOL) ... your words gave my self-confidence quite a boost, thank you! well, well well ... what am I gonna do next ...?

Angel Star  18 Jun 2002
The mind is a beautiful thing tigerlilly you just happened to be using more than 10% of it! I know when I first started casting I was amazed at how things were changing because I truly wanted them to. I used to be the biggest synic alive! I have seen magick work for good and bad and its very real. Just keep it positive and good luck in the future.

suzyspellbound  20 Jun 2002
I just want to support what most have already said, be carefull what you wish for and be patient!

Take care x

Sorceress_Jade  21 Jun 2002
I'm agreeing with the above posts and adding my two cents.

I don't know about the law of three: where whatever you put out comes back three fold. However, I am in agreement Malachite in this way...

Whatever you put out (emotion, need, good will) will come back to you.

Cast a love spell when you are needy and desperate for love, and you will end up with someone who is needy and desperate for you

Light a candle for the prosperity of a new merriage, and fortune will befall you

Banish someone or something from somewhere you love, and find yourself there less and less often.

Its really simple, and when you do cast spells and pay attention to all aspects of the outcome you'll see a trend. Every spell you cast you learn from, and looking back on them as a collection you can see the big picture. It's just like Tarot in that aspect.

The more spells I cast, the more i realized I didn't need a spell for everything.

meatbox666  27 Jun 2002
Hmmm,

uh, give me your address and I'll sendyou amethyst color contacts from fresh look. They areonly twenty bucks and they are disposable. Ifyou do that thenI guessyourspellworked after all :D

jade  27 Jun 2002
aaah, see sam, you never know how the goddess will assist you in getting what you ask for.

meatbox to the rescue! LOL

jade :D
