I was watching some TV the other day and saw a scene of children playing hopscotch. It's been a looooong time since I saw that hopscotch layout or made one myself. Anyway, it ocurred to me that there might be a similarity between the hopscotch pattern drawn on the ground and the way the Ten Sephira are layed out in a Kabbalah Tree of Life pattern. Anyone know the hopscotch pattern and whether it matches the Tree Of Life? Any historical connection there?
No, I have not flipped out. :) It's just been a tough week. :D

You know, I never thought about it before - WOW! Mind blowing stuff! But then again, there are a lot of "children's games" that have quite serious and esoteric meanings - like ring-a-round a rosey etc...
Maybe hopscotch was an archaic form of learning the Kabbalah Tree of Life??? The stone thrown was the attribute you werwe meant to study and meditate on...? Who knows! But fun and interesting analogy, thanks AugursWell!
Wheeeeeeee!
*SJ goes lookin' for some sidewalk chalk n a big ole stone*
