In Search of Techniques for Healing Past Karma

After much discussion and generous help in the forum I found some very helpful advice from my forum friends. I would now like to ask for your recommendations and techniques for Healing Past Karma. I am currently working with The Two Cocoons and would like to explore karmic healing much more. I'd love to hear from you. Namaste, Debins.

oh i have a friend/student who is doing amazing stuff with healing her past karma and her families! she sends reiki sessions back to her great grandparents and asks the goddess to assist them in healing their pain(s). she has noticed GREAT changes in her entire family since she began this (over a year ago). they have all become soooo much more connected to their spiritual selves. blockages that were always there for some of them have gone. her entire experience has totally blown me away! :) love jade

Thank you, Jade. How does one SEND reiki sessions back in time? Does this practice direct our attention to the fact that time is irrelevant, that the universe is not linear?

debins, i not sure if you're referring to past life karma or ancestral karma? for past life karma, i believe you heal, by working on the evolution of your soul. any knowledge of your past lives that you can gain can only help. thirteen posted some threads on kon(n?)rad's past life spread, that may help. for ancestral karma, i've found that researching my family tree helps. the more i learn about their past, the more i understand about my past and the more i can connect with my ancestors. i've also found many patterns, that i can look for in my life and break. i believe that when we break these patterns, we help all our ancestors evolve. i also pray and do blessings for them.

oh ya, i was referring to ancestorial karma. for past life karma, i send reiki to the spark of my existance. and then i just gently work my way thru past lives.............i also ask for my past lives to be healed......using the same reiki symbol. in light, jade

Thanks, both of you. I was actually referring to past life karma. I'm not sure if my interpretation of karma is correct but I think ancestral karma is implicated in past life karma, anyway. Is it not? Meaning that my husband may have been my mother, my mother my nephew, and so on. Patterns in ancestry is interesting. My family doesn't know much about its ancestry. But there are a few rumours which survive. I am quite keen on past lives, specifically, for there have been some otherwiwse unaccountable vibes between friends more than family that I find most fascinating.
