Latin?

I like the thought of learning Latin. You know how on some TV
programmes they had: "It seems to be aicent Latin," or "Some
form of Latin," that's related to something mystical....:) or
something like that...

I had to do a crash course in Latin at university, hated it in these days but want to revive my Latin some day.

I had to learn it at high school, both Latin and ancient Greek. At first I hated them both, but I did like Latin in the end. And it's very practical too, for example when learning foreign languages or when I had to do a course in medical terminology (which is all Latin).
Never really understood ancient Greek though, even though our teacher insisted that it was a lot easier than Latin... ;) I can still read the alphabet, but that's about it...

Ok... for the non latin people
Salve= hello
Quid agis hodie= How are you today?
Sum bene= I am great
Daniel est puer = Daniel is a boy
Jade est puella = Jade is a girl
This has been your latin lesson...
