I was watching the movie last night with a group of friends and was struck by the scene where they were able to change the color of their eyes with a spell. I actually found the spell in a book but feel a little scared to tried it even though im very curious to see if it actually work. Do you think it is dangerous and could turn against me even though it doesnt involve anybody else?

It's a movie, a lousy one at that. If you want to change your eye color a more reliable way would be to get some of those snazzy color contacts.
I do not think the spell would do any harm, I also do not think it will work.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news here.

I admire your courage, and I would support your efforts to explore all the facets of the Universe. They are many and full of excitement and adventure. They also provide we humans with opportunities for emotional and spiritual growth.
However! (I'll bet knew there'd be a "however.")
Spells can go awry unless one understands the environment and is fairly confident they know what they're doing.
Could I suggest that you first read something like Silver Ravenwolf's, "To Ride a Silver Broomstick," Marion Weinstein's "Practical Magic" -- that's not exactly right, but you'll find her on Amazon.com. I also liked her "Earth Magic, A Dianic Book of Shadows." Galenorn's "Embracing the Moon" is also one of my favorites.
Best wishes !!!!!

I'm gonna do two things here - throw in my 2c and throw a spanner in the works!!! ;) :D
I REALLY liked "The Craft"! Yeah it was OTT big time! But so was/is "Charmed" and I love that TV show! Any other crappy shows/movies I'm missing here?! C'mon, don't be shy now!!!
Must add that I'm a pagan myself, so I'm not trying to belittle anyone or anything, just having harmless fun! The best thing is finding the weaknesses in these Hollywood portayals of pagan life eg "the last element in spirit - SPIRIT!"
heh heh

I have to admit also, I liked "The Craft" and I watch "Charmed." I don't take it seriously, just watch it for the fun and like you said "spirit" of it.

my 2c...
Eye color can be changed... BUT not really.... The best spell for eye color changes would actually have to do with shifting the elements around you in such a way that your eye color would appear to be different. Your eyes don't actually turn a color. This usually works mainly with strangers or people you don't know well. You or someone who knows you better might not see the change unless you are clairvoyant and can see the shift in your subtle energy field. If you are not clairvoyant, to really know if it worked you'd have to ask someone you don't know well what color they think your eyes are. This is usually too much trouble for most but fun if you have extra time and energy to play.
