Woes of a Pagan - #2: First Stone Broken

I am really upset! And I knew it would happpen.
I HATE WHEN I HAVE TO SAY IT!!!
But I knew it would happen.

I kept my tiny Green Jade Pyramid in a pink box, with a string of velvet underneath. It was together with my small Rose Quartz sphere and Red Adventurine Obelisk - Malachite and Kiama saw them on my cam, weren't they cute? :(

Well, I touched the box and the shivers ran through my arm to shoulder, neck, ear and head. It had broken, in the end. There was a sort of crack, right in the middle of it. But it was adorable cos it added so many shades and tones of color at sunlight! I knew it was there, but it seemed harmless!

I am also worried because I thought of it as a bad omen at once. The idea entered my head in the same time I saw the stone. I say this especially on account of the "meaning", the "field" of the stone. I am quite... UPSET! :(

P.S. Jade, I need your special support, come here and support me, please!!!! :(

Pollux, dear,

Have you ever thought about cleansing your stones now and then? Give them a bath in Haematite Crystals overnight and charge them again in a full moon night in Clear Crystal.

Maybe the Jade worked too hard for you in the last time and gave in to the strain.

((((((((Pollux))))))))

That's really sad.

I don't think it is an omen, though. Maybe your Green Jade Pyramid had given you all it had to give and it was time for it to move on.

It is hard and sad to deal with, though.

Love and light,

fh

Catlin, it was not long since I gotthe stone... it didn't really occur to me as necessary probably. Now I will surely be more careful. Actually I have none of the Crystals you mention, and didn't even no there was the need of a specific bath including them. And what do you mean with Clear Crystal? Is it a product? Or maybe just clear quartz? I have just started messing with stones, you see... :)

I have thought about the "hardwork" of it. I don't know if I got much of it in... The only crystal I am handling is an amethyst, a druse. I was not trying - at least not willingly - to have the small stones work for me...
It is a possibility though. But I con't fully understand what that would imply.
Are you referring to the "field" of action of the gren Jade?

And, thank you.

Hoi! *sends lots of ska-weeeez hugs (the super huge kind)* That looks horrible! I'm soooo sorry!

jade  13 Jun 2002
hmm, a green jade pyramid breaks, *jade puts on her thinking cap*

pyramids bring energy - intensify energy - hmmmm

two thoughts,

have you had any symptoms or any dis-ease that has been healed recently

and

jade represents a gift within. perhaps a gift is making itself apparent to you at this time.

does any of that ring true for you pollux? i send my biggest huggles (the chocolate covered kind of hugs ARE the best after all).

Hi Pollux,

Yes, I was talking about clear quartz (darn, there are often different names for the same stones).

You can heavily count on that: If you feel drawn to a special stone you can bet that this stone has to do a "job" for you even if you are not conscious of it.

Cleansing a stone depends on what stone it is, some stones need weekly cleansing, others only once in a while.

You can get small baggies with tiny haematite or clear quartz in a metaphysical shop. I prefer Haematite as there are a lot of stones which do not tolerate cleansing under running water or in salt.

Kiama  14 Jun 2002
There is a belief within Feng Shui, that if a Green Jade stone reaks, it has nullified a load of negative energy tha was coming towqrds you, and saved you fro it by taking t all nto itself instead...

So, maybe that's what happened, so you can feel pleased that you weren't harmed...

Jade, I've though about it...
I've had no symptoms lately, I was strangely well - I usually get strong hay-fever fits or sesonal things in summer, but they seem to be over with the growth... Maybe the other way around? I should have got a disease that I managed to avoid? Dunno...
As for the inner gift... Maybe it is the other way around too... Maybe the breaking of the stone is the material expression of the fact that I am losing something, that it is breaking inside me... Again, I don't know for sure.

Cricket - thanks foir your Ska-weeez! :)

Catlin, thnaks for your words. I will be mroe careful about that too now. Geeeez mighta thought about that before! :(

Kiama, thank you too. I will try to let that consideration help me up...

I've kept the stone on my desk for a couple days... what should I do with it?

I don't think it is of any use now it is broken, and I'd better get rid of it.

Actually I thought I would try to break it to small pieces, to reduce it as much as possible, and bury it beneath a tree, maybe a cherry.

Good advice for me here?

jade  16 Jun 2002
it's still a stone, still a piece of mother earth, even though it's not in a tidy nice package...................

follow your intuition and do with it what feels right :D

Mh... I sounded a bit nasty in my first lines ("get rid of it"...) Well, I was meaning what you said. I just felt I should have returned it to the mother...
I think I will do so... that's what I thought in the first place, so why not? :)

There is an old tree behind my house, it will be there... :)
