a friend send this to me......what do you think?
"Jade,
Your comments about your sadness in regards to your
cesarians reminded me of something I heard in a
workshop I was in last week.
The woman holding the seminar I was in (prenatal yoga
teacher training) told us about a vision she had while
meditating._ She was sad for all the cesarians
happening in our society today, and was wondering why
this is happening so much at this point of time in
history. She thought that there must be a reason for
it. When she meditated on it, she said that she had a
vision of a lotus flower and realized that children
born of cesarian tend to be more psychic because they
didn't have their Sahasrara Chakra restriced through
birth, and that the time is coming for more evolution
for human awareness (which is what I think_ that this
chakra can represent?).
If you believe in reincarnation, perhaps your children
chose cesarians in order to be more open, and choose
you as a mother, knowing that you would support and
encourage this gift."
in light,

That's a beautiful thought, Jade.
It's probably also important to remember, though, that the number of births needing C-sections may not have gone up at all. In the past, giving birth wa a terribly risky business precisely because modern medicine (including things like C-sections) weren't available. So I think it's likely that proportion of pregnant women needing C-sections has never changed throughout time - it's just that in the past, the mother and child would have died instead of having the operation.

I`ve never heard of a link between c-sections and psychic ability. I was born by c-section and so was my daughter Indi, I`ve always thought myself to be only very slightly more psychic than most people. Indi`s only 3 and hasn`t shown any particular psychic abilities yet.

Both my children were born as C-sections and would have died otherwise, I've never heard of the link either, but I would definately nurture any psychic abilities they may have.
Both my children were also extremely alert following the birth too and were looking around and interested in their surroundings, which seemed a bit weird at the time.

I was born naturally, as were my children.
My head got stuck on the way out, maybe thats why Im not as psychic as I figure I could be, I very rarely even remember my dreams
But both my kids I think show potential, we'l have to see as they grow up

I haven't heard about a link between c-section and physic ability. I was born in the normal way and I think my physic abilities are ok. As far as I have heard there is a tendancy to have more c-sections today as more mothers don't want to tolerate the sufferings in a normal birth.
A c-section is still an operation and an operation also has risks. A c-section is ok in case there is risk for the mother and/or the baby.

I seeno link personlly bewteen psychic abilitiues and aything but one's ability to either keep it, or o re-learn it.
You see, hold to the belief that all children areborn wth pychic ablity, and that, through not needing to use it in today's society as they may have had to before for survival and religious purposes, it fell into dsuse.... As adults who had this happen to them, we just re-learn psychic ability if e want to
Any thought son this?

I think everyone has psychic ability, but some just discover it earlier and/or will be able to use it and develop it better than others.
