I'd started thinking about taking gem elixirs a few weeks back and yesterday picked up a book called _Gem Elixirs and Vibrational Healing_ by Gurudas cheaply (little nervous because its a channelled source and my opinion on those is mixed but that's another thread topic on its own).
I've been starting to collect magical stones with the idea in my mind I'd experiment with elixirs if I found good source material and now I have, but I still have questions. Has anyone hear used Gem elixirs? Were your experiences positive, negative, hard to tell?

I took Emerald elexir for quite a while last year when I felt pretty bad. I had bought it at the pharmacie (sorry, I have no emerald in my stone collection to do it myself). I felt pretty good with that (reminds me that I should start taking it again).

Gem elixirs are more or less glasses of filtered water that have been "charged" with putting a gem or mineral into them for a set period. Some of them you drink, some of them you apply to the skin.

Does this work the same as simply wearing a stone or is it different? And how does the charging work, do you simply put the stone in the water or is there more to it?

Tarotlady- those are all good questions! In fact, the sort of questions I was hoping someone here would have answers for since I've been too busy with other projects to even crack open the book. LOL.

I bought my Emerald elixir in the pharmacy so it was treated.
I know a guy who simply puts his stones in a glass of water and drinks it afterwards but I did not feel the need to do so (besides, you cannot do this with all stones, think of Hematite which may not be brought in contact with water).
