Reiki question

hello everyone, ive got a question about reiki, but u probly guessed that from the thread title. Anywho, i understand what reiki is and how its used, i have the ability, but until recently didnt actually know what it was called. ive been working with it for for awhile now and have a great deal of control over my ability, now heres my question? about the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd levels, how to u attain them, does someone just give you an attunement and send you on ur merry way? any info would be apprciated.

Hi WhiteDrag0n,
You receive your attunements from a reikimaster. A reikimaster doesn't just give you the attunement and "send you on your merry way", but s/he should also teach you how you can use reiki and help you with any questions you may have. Well, that's my opinion anyway...
I received my 1st and 2nd degree attunements during IRL courses, but it is also possible to do distance courses, whatever you prefer.

http://reiki.7gen.com/ is a really good webpage on Reiki that can help answer additional questions like "how do you find a Reiki master?"

I'm interested in Reiki myself. :)
However, most of the Reiki course/certifications I've encountered were so expensive. Are they all?
Can anyone tell me approximately how much it should cost?

there is not 'should' cost. unfortunately that's like saying how much should a reading cost. it depends on the person reading and how much the querent wants to pay.
i know readers and reiki masters that charge alot and are excellent and well worth the money.
i also know readers and masters that don't and they are excellent also.

Is there such a thing as a reputable M/T? :)
Can you please recommend a few? (Preferably someone who offers distant attunements/teachings.)
