Seeing images of people you're going to meet

I had a weird experience yesterday and today. Yesterday I was lying awake in bed, thinking of all sorts of things and suddenly I saw an image of a man. It wasn't completely clear, but I could see the colour of his hair, his haircut and some of his facial features. Let's just say I wouldn't be able to really describe him, but I would be able to recognize him. But I didn't recognize him, he didn't look like anyone I knew. Today I had completely forgotten about it. This afternoon I went into a dive shop to buy a dive suit and the owner was very helpful. We chatted a bit about my next dive trip, he offered me a drink after I had tried on the suit (who says I don't exercise... trying on a two-piece dive suit when it's 25 degrees outside is like high impact fitness!! ;) ). And then, when I was driving home, it suddenly struck me: the dive shop owner was the man whose image I had seen yesterday! Has anyone experienced this before? I've never had this happen to me before, what does it mean?? :confused:

Hmmm have to ask...what was your card for today? :) This never happend to me before. Its happend with situations but never with people....Maybe this man is going to be imprortnat to you? Maybe he had something to learn to you? Love and light Maan

My card for today was the Six of Swords, but I don't really see how it relates to this. I interpreted the Six of Swords for today as getting a bit more positive after feeling down, which sort of describes my day today.

Hi Tarotlady, What a wonderful experience for you. The daily card was probably telling you that you will pass with ease from the sub-conscious state to the conscious. The man was probably someone from your sub-conscious made manifest. He was there to give you what you need during this "slump" time. Didn't he boost your spirits and possibly helped with a little ego stroking? Such a great card for you. Steady progress in the boat of transition toward fulfilling a longing for different experiences, new places and yup, new faces. Blessings...........Moose

Yes, good point Moose, thanks! He certainly did boost my spirits! He gave me a €60 discount on a suit that was already a special offer, and that's a very unusual gesture in the very competitive dive business! :) So yes, I guess I just needed to meet a very kind person today... :) Let's keep that boat going... :D ;)

I think that the closest I get to this is lots of Deja Vu in my life. I never realize I have seen something or someone before,usually in a dream, until it has already happened (again). It kinda negates the mystical part of it. Nothing very clear ever comes through before the event, just "Eureka" moments after I have made the connection. Something like code cracking I guess.

Yes. In the early '90's, I had a repeated dream sequence which ended with me marrying a greyhaired man under a rose arch at one of step-aunt's home in Australia. His back was turned to me in this dream - the effect of me walking up the aisle to him.... I was going through a whole growth cycle about being alone and becoming comfortable with myself, so I figured it was just a rich fantasy coming through in my dream. But it happened regularly, for about three or four months (not every night, but regularly). In the mid '90's I meet the man who I married a couple years later. Imagine my surprise when the dreams came back! It wasn't until the third date that they came back, when I realized he was not a dirty blonde - but prematurely grey! And while we weren't married at my step-aunt's rose garden, we were married outside...and in the photos that came to us later, one of the trees next to the pavillion was arched over us. So, I guess in this case, my dream came true.

I dreamed of a very young version of my co-worker 2 years before I met him :) We connected very easily and we could prolly become close friends, 'cept I was reassigned to another office... A month or so ago I dreamed of taking a walk in a city. It was really hot and hazy and I lived in an apartment that was close to a tall building. A few days ago, I saw the tall building on the TV! It was a clip showing Pittsburgh weather..and yeah the news person said it was hot and muggy. And it so happens I'm travelling there next week :) Mariel

Hi tarotlady... I wish things like that would happen to me. You've been blessed with a wonderful experience. I must ask...are you psychic? I think that this happend to you for a reason. whether it be that this is an important figure in your life, or even a past life, who knows? You'll find out eventually, even if it's after you move on to the next life. Have you ever been married? Maybe this could be your future husband, or a lover that meant alot to you in a previous life, and you seem to have a special connection with him. I say you go back up there and act like your buying another suit or something and see where it leads. Were you attracted to him in any way? Talk to him again. Even if you don't, I'm almost positive you will cross paths again. This obviously didn't happen for no apparent reason. Best of luck with the wedding :) Many Blessings your way, Rain

I've seen my children in their early 20's and higher teens and there's still one out there waiting to be concieved! (the girls are here 7 and 2) And I have had flashes of my boyfriend.

What Moose said struck a real chord in me. My guess is that man is going to become a friend, who's come into your life right now because you were unconsciously asking for something (friendship? emotional support? kindness?) and life delivered. He might not be *the* man in your dream, but he's whatever or whoever your conscious mind interprets the symbolic language of your dream to be (if that makes any sense). Laurel

Yes Laurel, that makes a LOT of sense ;). The way I'm seeing it now: he's not my future husband or anything like that. In fact, I did a reading about that and it was very clear that that is not what this is all about (I used the Osho Zen, which doesn't beat around the bush...;) ). I think life is trying to tell me something here. It's too personal to go into here, but I think I'm getting the message... :)

As long as you are not kicking your dive equipment every week so that you can go back for more repairs: "You know its just the strangest thing! I keep seeing these dents appear all of a sudden on my equipment......"
