weird penny coincidences

Hi everyone- something kinda odd happened to me today and I have no clue if it was just a weird set of coincidences or what..but here goes... On my way to work, I heard someone call out my name and it was a friend of mine standing at a stamp machine. He said he was one penny short of having enough for his stamp and wondered if he I had one. Of course I did. As I handed the coin over he expressed gratitude as he needed to mail the letter immediately. I commented that Hey..it is no big deal..its just a penny after all. Then he said..yes..but right now,,it certainly is valuable to me. I didn't think much of it until I arrived at work and found a penny on the floor. Then during the day I ended up finding 3 more pennies which I placed in my pocket. Later this evening when I got home I bent over and all the pennies fell out of my pocket, rolling across the floor. At that moment it really hit me how much contact I have with pennies today. It probably sounds silly, but for some reason it make me think it means something..but what in the heck could it possibly mean? Am I reaching for straws here? Have I lost my mind or had too much caffeine? what do you think? blessings, Moonklad

Maybe it's just that something that seems so small to you, was so important at a particular moment to someone else? R :)

thanks for sharing your story! i really liked that the penny had such value. i always pick them up. hmmm... so you gave once and received four times. next time someone asks for a dollar..... lol.

Her first penny was her penny "borrowed" back, and then she got other 3... IT CAME BACK TIMES THREE!!! THE THREEFOLD LAW!!! :D *in awe* :D I like Rhiannon's moral, and I agree with it. :) Rhiannon, what other Air influences you have apart from the Gemini Sun? ;)

my first wife (an absolute comsummate witch) started us on a disipline. we pick up pennies wherever we found them. that included those that were imbedded in the concrete/asphalt. i wound up carrying a pocketknife with me everywhere. i've dug up pennies in the middle of traffic in center city philadelphia, out in the surrounding suburbs-- anywhere there was a loose penny we were to collect it. i never figured out the grand significance of this, other than persistance and perseverance. raven

I've been reading of late several books on spirits in the after life, and in some instances, when they are trying to contact those here, coins are used. I don't know why that is a way chosen, just passing along a bit of what I've read. In love and light, Kismet

I find pennies all the time , walking along the street , or in a public place, or on the ground. I almost always try to pick them up! I put them in an old sunny delight juice jar. I think many people drop them and don't bother to pick them up because they are "just a penny". Sometimes I even find nickles, dimes , or quarters. :) . I have to say I've never dug one up out of the concrete with a pocket knife though! I used to live right by a train track. The kids would put pennies and other coins on the track and wait for the train to run them over. Then they would find the smooth flattened coin. Uh oh! It's actually illegal to deface u.s. currency! :P .
